CPAC: Sarah Palin Pulls Out

Via Think Progress comes the news that this years Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) will not feature an appearance from vice presidential candidate and would-be Republican Party standard-bearer Sarah Palin. CPAC officials have been told that Palin's whole being-the-governor-of-Alaska thing will preclude her attendance:

"We're obviously disappointed," said a CPAC official. A spokesman for the three-day confab, organized by the American Conservative Union Foundation and others, said that Palin, the popular former vice presidential nominee, had indicated she would be able to attend but cited "duties of governing" in bowing out.

Palin will send along a "taped message" for CPAC attendees to enjoy. Meanwhile, the responsibility of issuing vapid complaints about the media shall fall to every other CPAC attendee.

Hopefully, Palin will lay low for the next 8 years and learn something. Then when she reappears as the candidate for the AIP she will put that pitbull with the lipstick down. You know, originally, she was not the divisive figure that the reTHUGs fashioned her into. I've watched her for years on c-SPAN long before PoP PoP McSame plucked her out of Alaska. Plus, it had to be daunting for her to lose to another African American again. She came in 2nd in her beauty pageant to a smart, beautiful black woman from Alaska. So, she's probably pulling back so she can become herself again. Give her a break. We got our top-quality President in Obama...th­at's a blessing and everybody deserves a chance to regroup and come correct the next time out.

Wow. Sarah seems finally to be getting some good political advice. First she snubs the Republican congressional delegation, who are proving themselves to be a bunch of whiny, ineffectual losers. Now she is ditching an organization that promotes the failed policies that got us into this economic crisis.

If she is successful in trying to paint herself as a outsider to the current crop of Republican idiots, she has a decent chance of fulfilling my dream by capuring the GOP nomination for president in 2012.

I can't wait to see this lunatic in action again. Now if she can only get Rush Limbaugh on her ticket....

Sarah Palin is apparently upset that SHE was not choosen to be RNC Chairwoman. After all, she is the 'executive' of the state where she can see Mr. Putin of Russia rearing his head in the air-space.­.... Hahahahaha­ha... LMAO.... Hahahahaha­hahaha....­.

Since she was NOT choosen as the RNC/GOP/Republican Party Chairwoman-Leader, why would she want to waste her time with the small time CPAC , who obviously doesn't "deserve" to hang with her.... and 'also too', she has already committed that time 'also too' to participate in ALL of the Iditarod festivitie­s...

Palin begging for Federal aide wouldn't be so hypocrital if she hadn't gone around the country saying, "No government handouts to the people" "Government IS the problem." "Government needs to get out of the way."

Palin had Alaska business but she still left Alaska to attend Obama elite party and she said on main stream media she was going because Obama was going to be there(The President Obama that pals around with domestic terrorist, the one not like us that sees America different from us, the one that is probably not from the real parts of America, the community organiziner, the one that would diminish the office of the presidency if elected)..
