Jonas Brothers On Letterman: Miley, Taylor Swift, Fame & A Top 10 List (VIDEO)

The Jonas Brothers made their first appearance on David Letterman Thursday and talked about their long path to fame while fielding questions about a few ex girlfriends and acknowledging they are living many peoples' dream life. They also read their own Top 10 (scroll below video to read it).

Kevin, Joe and Nick are promoting their 3-D concert film that is opens February 27.

Letterman gamely listened to youngest brother Nick talk about their ups and downs on the way to tween superstardom before interrupting.

"Let me just interject something. You're 16? You've had no ups and downs! It's all been up! You're 16!"

Asked about ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus, Nick downplayed their lengthy relationship, "I was 14. I was pretty young, so I think you can just consider it a young, little relationship."

And asked about his ex, country crossover star Taylor Swift, Joe stuttered a little before telling Dave, "You know... we didn't work out."

Well thanks to one of my nieces I was subjected to about half an hour of the JB and felt sick afterwards.

I realize teenybopper idols have been with us as long as there has been popular music, but somehow it just seems more and more lame as the years go on.

WHERE is the music these days? Once upon a time, teen idols were just the red headed step child of the music world, NOW they are the end all and real musicians are put on the back burner in favor of lame music that is intended to separate as money from mom and dad as possible to keep their little darlings happy.

The JB and Miley and the rest are just the latest incarnations of the corporate "music" world.

I do not know much about the Jonas Brothers, perhaps there music is more dimensional then their cardboard appearance on Letterman...The only thing that was interesting was the "Top Ten Surprising Facts About the Jonas Brothers" #1 Angelina Jolie wanting to adopt them. Oh Yeah...Ashford & Simpson were performing with Paul was cool.(Amazingly, Nick Ashford is getting Younger)
The Jonas Bros appearance on Letterman leads me to believe that Disney apparently is breeding some of the lamest young stars, with all kinds of issues. From Britney Spears to Miley Cyrus, its not been boring ..sad maybe..They may not be great Role Modes for young Girls. But they sure are great Money Makers....
