Ashley Dupre

New York Daily News:

Ashley Dupre may be a hooker with a heart of gold, but designer Yigal Azrouël didn't want her at his show. Azrouël was so upset with Eliot Spitzer's infamous call girl perching in his Fall/Winter 2009 front row seats, that he fired front-of-house PR company People's Revolution.

A no-nonsense, late night press release announced the news: "Following the showing of his Fall Winter 2009 Collection, Yigal Azrouël has decided to fire front-of-house PR Company, People's Revolution, for mismanagement."

When I saw this lady's picture I didn't know who she was and I thought she was a pop singer or a starlet. Why shouldn't she attend the fashion show? As a hooker, she probably makes good money and could afford the fashions.

I'm shocked that the lady from People's Rev. was so clownish. One thing that you absolutely don't do is mess with your client's Front Row at Fashion Week. The seating is really, really tight for that, and they put a lot of planning into who goes where. In fact, it's better to have a nobody there than someone infamous, like Dupre.

Thing is, there probably wouldn't have been a fuss if she'd just sat in the second or third row, or even up in the Amex Sky Booth or something. Very surprising.

I think it's kind of refreshing. Good for you Mr. Azrouël.

Her nose is not her best feature, for sure, but have you checked out Eliot Spitzer's nose lately?

geez I kinda feel bad for her. I think though that if she had a nose job people would like her more.

Its a dirty little secret that 'celebreties' are payed big bucks to show their faces at 'events'. If you see famous star X posing for cameras at a charity event for widows and orphans its a good bet the celebrity is walking away with a bigger cut of the event take than the orphans will ever see. Can we assume the publicist was canned because Ms. Dupree was one of those paid attendees?

Her celebrity is just as bad as Paris Hilton's and some others. What is the difference Ashley Dupree sold sex, and so does Paris HIlton. Neither of them have any talent worth marketing, except for sex.

While Spitzer's problems were a combination of sadness and the absurd, why is this woman still in the news......she was a high price call girl.......that's it......goodbye.

That designed paid his PR person to fill those front rows and the best she could do was a hooker? She should have her empty head examined.

Why all the hyperventilating? It's the oldest profession. For a reason.

Who can blame him? He wants a high -end clientele, not a high-end hooker (who'll look like a Long Island yenta in 10 years) to be associated with his clothes. It's not being a prude, it's called being a smart businessman.
