I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Ashley Dupre may be a hooker with a heart of gold, but designer Yigal Azrouël didn't want her at his show. Azrouël was so upset with Eliot Spitzer's infamous call girl perching in his Fall/Winter 2009 front row seats, that he fired front-of-house PR company People's Revolution.

A no-nonsense, late night press release announced the news: "Following the showing of his Fall Winter 2009 Collection, Yigal Azrouël has decided to fire front-of-house PR Company, People's Revolution, for mismanagement."

This girl is a wreck. If you saw her interview on 20/20 she tried to make her self out as so innocent. She said she did it to pay the rent but forgot to mention the rent was $4500 a month at her up scale apartment. Also she lived a lavish lifestyle in New York.Last summer she got caught cheating with a wealthy married man that has two young daughters. Her step dad is a oral surgeon that could have paid her way comfortable through college. You have to feel sorry for him and how his day must go when she is in the news. As for the designer the PR Company that he hired, People's Revolution, had to have put her there in her seat it was by invitation only. They should have got his okay on her from him. They had it in the paper that they were going out.Now his clothing line will tainted by her image on them. The cost of his clothing is $2500 and up.

I am so tired of all these bimbettes making their 15 minutes into fame. What is with America trying to make stars out of people who have not earned it?
Aren't there enough genuine stars to go around?
It is like all those financial gurus thinking they deserved to take those millions of dollars out of their companies. What does one actually get to do to earn ten's of millions of dollars in salary?.
So back to Ashley, she earned $2000 a bonk, Does that make her a celebrity?

I agree with the designer, she is of course entitled to go where she pleases, but maybe she could pay for her ticket as any ordinary citizen, which I take to mean that if you sit in the front row, you are an invited guest, and it is a freebie.

The shows are all free, but every seat is invite only.

If you are going to post by texting, do you think you could still take the time to put a coherent statement together?

I would have fired them too. This is not what you hire a PR firm for. And even worse, it was an insult to any other notables who were invited to/attended that show.

This woman's fifteen minutes were over six months ago. The designer shouldn't stop at just firing them, he should be suing them for mismanagement as well.

Good move on part of the designer. Ashley Dupree seems to be a walking and talking bad kharma machine. It's odd that she seems to leave a trail of destruction in the things she gets involved doing. Personally I don't think she should be rewarded being a faux celebrity by being a prostitute and breaking the law while showing no remorse for her actions. Yes it takes two to tango, but Dupree is not an innocent and I think it sends a terrible message that if you doing something incredibly sleazy, don't worry becasue if you have a good agent or publicist you should be able to turn that into book, movie and endorsement deals.

What's sleazy IS making money on talking to the press and destroying people and perhaps governments.

Lot's of these 'sex stings' were plants. Ultimate sleazy

Ashley can make $100 K next year hookin, I could care less.

Hey Ashley, please don't bloow out president, okay?

Lewinsky was given a handbag line to 'design' (hhahahhaha!) and a weightwatchers sponsorship worth close to twenty million. All she had to do was keep twenty pounds off for a year, and couldn't do that! Didn't she get a book deal too? Two hundred pages on how great a kisser Bill was?

Without her most famous partner to 'signature' the purses, no one wanted one - go figure!

No wonder these bimbos think their 'deed' will make them quick cash - like that idot that just had the litter.

This girl is beautiful but should look to Playboy or Penthouse for more money, not a fashion show. Kind of ironic, isn't it?

I think it's great that Yigal is standing up against a profession that suckers in young girls with promises of easy money, exploits them based on their looks, encourages drug use, and tosses its used up victims aside when they're no longer desirable. Could you imagine if the fashion industry treated models like hookers?

[/sarcasm]

besides, what designer would want a hooker to take up space that would more profitably be used for one of them guys who keep the hook..er make that models in that good powder that keeps them so naturaly thin and healthy.

nothing is selling now, regardless of who the designer is. that's a fact. why not create a little buzz, a little controversey to stir up the press. hey, just look at all the comments here. i wouldn't be surprised if ashlee got a few free outfits just for showin' up. no big deal. i'm an artist and would love to have her come to one of my shows.

Yigal's clothes are gorgeous, sophisticated, architechural. Definitely not hooker wear.

Dupre might want to pop by Roberto Cavalli's show though.

Good for Yigal. Front row seats at a designer's show are normally by invitation. Allowing an uninvited person to take a front seat is akin to having a stranger sit at the family seats at a wedding and be in the photographs. It appears as if the person is favored by the designer and elevates one to a position of honor. Add the fact that she is currently persona non grata in NYC society her presence is toxic. He has worked too hard to allow it.
