Ashley Dupre

New York Daily News:

Ashley Dupre may be a hooker with a heart of gold, but designer Yigal Azrouël didn't want her at his show. Azrouël was so upset with Eliot Spitzer's infamous call girl perching in his Fall/Winter 2009 front row seats, that he fired front-of-house PR company People's Revolution.

A no-nonsense, late night press release announced the news: "Following the showing of his Fall Winter 2009 Collection, Yigal Azrouël has decided to fire front-of-house PR Company, People's Revolution, for mismanagement."

“The City” star and Dupre met back in the days when Dupre was still looking for a publicist ..." I thought they were called pimps.

We're a society that makes people like Whitney Port celebrity status who have absolutely nothing of substance to contribute to society except being photographed in designer clothes and attending high profile fashion/entertainment media events.

I seriously doubt she is the only professional in the audience.

Maybe he prefer his line appeal to women of taste, who have money. A designer's clientele is very important to them. A notorious hooker sitting in the front row is not what he'd want. Imagine the message THAT sends. His clothing is designed for hookers? His show is to be used for a PR stunt? She didn't have to be on the front row, if she was really that interested in the clothing.

It wasn't a PR stunt until he made it so. Free publicity.

You've never heard of "this arrogant pinhead" probably because all your clothes are from Walmart. Some of us are very familiar with his talent.

In many industries, your reputation is a big part of the success or failure of your brand. He's protecting his, as he should. It was HIS show, not the publicist's to let in her skeevy friends. She was hired to do a job, and she obviously failed.
