I agree with you, but the right-wingers in our midst would NEVER acquiesce to this because remember they are all about promoting "real-America", you know, the "small-town" values of nothing but heterosexual relationships that produce offspring, and then when those relationships do produce offspring, the will demand that the kid be brought to term, and then d@mn it to heII after it's born. They expect the 1 day old to go out and get a job.

Knowing that most of Suze's fanbase is middle America, which will probably come out this week against Ms. Orman, I have to say I applaud her conscience and bravery to do the right thing no matter what it may cost her career.
I'm not in middle America, and I find her advice good, but I wish she would shut up about this.

The religious like to believe that marriage is all about the sanctity of Gawd's laws, but just try to be married only by a church or religion, and watch just how valid it isn't without the state's sanction. (license) Marriage is a legal, business partnership in the government's eyes, and there's plenty of reasons not to legalize love with a binding contract. Gay people are actually asking for the state to legally sanction their partnerships as they do with Straight couples, not for everyone to change their religious beliefs about marriage. This is a GOOD thing, people. Lawful. Responsible.

Suze: Thank you so much for that recent show wherein you looked right into the cameras several times and begged the credit card companies not to continue and/or increase their unfair lending practices and commence the imminent credit card crisis for consumers. I applaud you for that and for the palpable caring and concern you have always demonstrated for people on your show. I've lived long enough to know a brilliant mind when I encounter one and a good, honest, loving heart such as yours. Thank you for validating any spouse who is trying to keep a budget with a partner who is money challenged. We love you, oh wise, lovely one who truly knows and truly cares.
Before everyone starts judging all religious people by Pie7 let me say that I am religious and I support gay marriage. It really burns me when my religion is hijacked and these self righteous sanctimonious fools start quoting God like they just got of the phone with Him.

Many people are lead to believe it is the end of the world. First ask your self why do you care who marrys? Second if Tom and Steve get married does that mean you don't get to heaven? That is how I think about it. I could careless about who get married this day in age. If they are happy why should give my 2 cents. I totally agree with Suze on this one. I hear ya, I try not to judge others unless my family is attacked or judged and that is exactly what pie and tr24 are notorious for. I find it truly disgusting that someone such as Pie7, who came to this country as an immigrant believes that they are ENTITLED to more rights under than law than I am (a natural-born citizen) simply because they are heterosexual.
Thank you I never understood that. I grew up in a religious home but I saw the world different. When I got married my family refused to come because my brother in law in gay. SInce that day I have questioned religion and God's plan. Kudos to Suze all people should be created equal regardless. I wished the religious right knew that.

I have watched some of Suze Orman's shows.
And I cannot, for the LIFE of me, figure out why she is allowed to speak on the topic of money.
I think she is a complete hack, in her purported area of expertise. But then again, who knows? maybe she helps some people, some times.
The only positive thing I can say about her money advice, is that it generally won't HURT anyone.
However, after viewing this clip, I have to say, that my esteem and respect for Suze Orman has just risen exponentia

Suze is the one who warned us waaa-aay prior to this housing crisis that it was in the works. She regularly is ahead of the rest of the MSM predicting the trends good or bad. You need to really listen, because you obviously have missed the boat on this. Also, why did you need to so anxiously declare you straighness? Maybe you are telegraphing that the "context of your opinion" is not only lack of knowlege but, also, an intolerance of those with differing opinions and/or life/gender choices. My wife loves Suze. I find it hard to believe she got a TV show just for telling people to save their money and not buy extravagant things.
