Ann Coulter: Chris Matthews Wants To Have Sex With Barack Obama (VIDEO)

Joy Behar interviewed Ann Coulter Thursday night on "Larry King Live" (Joy was subbing for Larry). In a wide-ranging discussion, that at times grew heated, Coulter spouted off on everything from the stimulus package, her recent appearance on "The View," her feelings on Rush Limbaugh as the voice of conservative America (hint: she likes it), and whether Americans hate her ("I'm very popular," Ann boasted, citing her seven New York Times bestsellers).

But the juiciest part of their 18 minutes together came when Joy and Ann talked about sex.

Joy read an excerpt from Ann's book which alleged that members of the media wanted to have sex with Barack Obama during the campaign.

"Did you want to have sex with George Bush? What are you talking about?" Joy asked. "Does Morley Safer want to have sex with Barack Obama?

"Probably! And I know Chris Matthews does," Ann responded.

Asked if she'd ever dated a liberal, Ann said, "I tried but I couldn't take the dinky little electric car."

When Joy followed-up, asking what sorts of men Ann likes, she said, "I like men, i.e. conservatives. I don't want them checking with the UN to get a resolution before making a move."

Typical Ann Coulter double-talk. I must hand it to her, she is able to double talk her way out of anything. Check out at 5:10 - 5:30 of the interview, when Ann claims that "each president has a bigger defecit than the last one", and then Joy shoots her down by mentioning that Clinton had left Bush with a budget surplus. Ann 's response: "It was a surplus on paper". Joy went no futher on that zinger, but my response was: AS OPPOSED TO WHAT? Paper is how spending is documented, it's what people's checks and bank statements are printed on, it's what MONEY is printed on!

For actual documentation on the surplus, google "Bill Clinton and the budget surplus", there's a link to a website called thephantom­republican­.blogspot.­com that takes you to federal budget data (posted in 2006) showing that the US federal government ran at a surplus in each of the years of 1998, 1999 and 2000.

My suggestion to listeners of Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh is to be skeptical of their "facts", and do some of their own research into these half-truths to find out the whiole truth.

"... brilliant, classy and gorgeous...." Are you kidding? I. she's bright; she is not brilliant. 2. If this is your idea of classy, I doubt that we'll ever end up at the same party. 3. Gorgeous... that's a matter of taste, she does have great legs, but everything that comes out of her mouth is so calculatedly ugly that Ann Coulter is hardly attractive. Like P.J. O'Rourke said: "Lot's of us say ridiculous s**t like that at four o'clock in the morning but then we sober up and have the sense not to repeat it." It's true usually one has to hang out in bad bars to hear that sort of Dutch courage at work. If you think that Ann Coulter is brilliant, have another drink, then she'll get smarter... and prettier too.

Don't even flatter this woman. The statement that 'Chris Matthews wants to have sex with Obama' isn't even an original thought of her own. She bowdlerised it from a remark made by Bill Maher on Real Time in one of the early episodes in the second half of 2008, wherein he remarked that MSNBC was practically ready to have sex with Obama. Considering that Maher supported Obama, himself, she's merely taken a left-wing progressive's viewpoint and tailor-made it into a pejorative observation.
