We are all entitled to our own opinions of the corporatist media, but in your official capacity, please try to be specific in your critiques. Which broadcast, on what subject, by what network, and what content do you dispute or condemn, and why exactly? Also, whenever possible, please tell your employers/audience the time and day of the broadcast. Whether we search the Internet or our own Tivo machines, such data are often helpful.

thats nice that gibbs is softspoken . wouldnt it be nice if he answered the questions ,too?i find that obama , gibbs, geithner, andthe rest of them are very vague. they preach a lot about transparency but they dont tell us anything. they keep repeating the same phrases but they dont follow up with details. gibbs said it best when he said it worked when i said it last week so i thought id say it again.

Yep, so much worse than the prior maladministration that flat out lied to us and fabricated reasons to invade a sovereign nation, enriched their buddies at every defence contracting outfit (Haliburton in particular - who was their top man before he became the VP?) and had what is now widely regarded as the worst record in the history of this nation. The display of sheer chicanery and incompetence of the prior group makes me delighted to have a group that you may see as vague but I see as refreshing. One other thing I find dead funny at the moment - all of the whining about Obama taking steps to do what he actually campaigned on - how un-American is that. Very.

Keep up with the plot, child. The Democrats hold the Presidency and are the ruling majority in Congress. That isn't a partisan statement, that's fact. Even your man BO has bragged about the Democrats winning control of the government.

What is the difference between somebody who put down 0-10% and a renter? Not much except the kind of paper they signed. So when people say "losing their homes", where is the help for renters in this plan that are going to be evicted, if we are really, trully concered about "people losing their homes".

The difference is Wall St is the landlord on one side, while nameless people are the landlords on the rental side. Who is getting the bailout? Wall st of course.

If this was truly about "helping people" rather than helping wall st, why wouldn't prudent renters who are down on their luck be given help? The renters play by the rules and get no help because their landlords don't have as much political power as Wall st.

I love it that Progressives support this nonsense, with wall st enjoying their taxpayer funds.

All kidding aside, I worry for my children because no one in DC has cogently explained to the People how we're going to pay back all the debt we'll incur from the series of crap sandwiches this Democratic Administration and Democratic Congress will dump on us. While it's clear that a lot of people are suffering now, it also seems to be that we're back-ending a lot more suffering on future generations. As far as whether I had a better plan, well, we're supposed to have leaders to come up with that. Putting aside all the emotionalism and thinking about this rationally, there isn't anything evident in BO's speeches that indicates how he intends for us to get out of the debt we're about to create for ourselves.
