Harvard may be the nation's wealthiest university, but it is short on cash.
The school relies on its endowment to generate a third of the money for its operations, and the endowment is on the verge of posting its biggest loss in 40 years. With much of its money tied up for the long term, it is scrambling to meet some obligations.

being as 85% of the most important politicians in DC, and 99% of the richest and most powerful Capitalist in the US have Harvard parchment, I am not surprised to NOT see anyone of them rushing to bail out harvard yet. I am sure our good politicians will somehow funnel a few billion from the bail out or maybe medicare funds to shore up their beloved brainwashing institute, but you wont see any of their products in the capitalist world doing this. Unless they can see a way to profit from it. Which is funny. Seeing Harvard die off by the same hands that they groomed to destroy America.

there has been Ivy Greed educated people at the helm of businesses and gov during every single downturn of the economy over the last 80 years. If thats not enough reason to give someone else a try, I dont know what is. They cause more problems then their very expensive and elitist educational degree is worth. Maybe people who have not been brainwashed that greed is good, should get the next 80 years to see what they can do. . Oh wait, since Ivy Greeders control everything now, they would never let that happen. They are to selfish.
I think harvard will make a great place to set up a homeless shelter. as for all the rage when Obama was running, it was there, just that he didnt appear to be as brainwashed with IVy Greed as most. But then again, we are seeing that is not the case. He is still part of the Ivy Greed crowd. His actions are showing it.
where was all this ivy rage when obama was running?....after all, he is a columbia and harvard law grad.
disclaimer: i supported obama and have nothing against the elite schools in this country even though i went to a state school myself.

you dont get it, Ivy greed schools are not primary institutions. These are like the Moonies or Krishna's where, except they dont accept anyone, you have to have a lot of money to become one of the brain washed privileged. Ivy Greed has little to do with education, its a cult. Clear and simple.

OK. So here is one case where nationalization really makes sense. Nationalize Harvard and make its research and it teaching available to every student in the nation, if not the world.
To see Harvard go under, , the largest and most influential of the Ivy Greed producers in the world, would be one of the greatest days for normal, non greedy humans all over the world.
Universities are corporations that don't pay taxes. It would be interesting to see how much of the increased value of an education is artificially elevated by the motive of 'profit' for the 'school' as opposed to the actual cost of putting a professor/graduate assistant in the room with a bunch of students.
Work harder, work longer peasants- the Ivy leaguers need your money.
Harvard had the best investment team in the industry, and they let them leave because uninformed alumni felt they were paid too high. Now that team is having a bnner year at their new firm, and Harvard lost an immense amount of the endowment.

Bush went to Yale, and got a MBA from Harvard.. THey are both idiots when it comes to UNi. They both gave him a degree because of daddies money.

Bush has a Harvard MBA and knows all about business and is currently between assignments . . . . couldn't he TAKE over the endowment funds and get things moving????
Seems having Alumni status would give him added insight into running the college fund . . . his Harvard MBA did wonders for the U.S. . . . . .
