Montana Governor Ribs Palin For Skipping Governors' Meeting

Montana Democratic Gov. Brian Schweitzer ribbed Alaska Republican Gov. Sarah Palin Friday for announcing at the last minute that she will not be attending a Sunday discussion of energy policy that the two governors were scheduled to lead at this weekend's meeting of the National Governors Association (NGA) in Washington.

"I don't know where she's going to be. You'll be stuck with me," Schweitzer told ABC News. "There will be no glamour, certainly no snappy dressing. I brought my best two pairs of jeans. There's a little bit of a horse s**t stain by the knee. But I've been washing that stuff out."

Why would anyone be shocked about Sarah not attending a political function that is not self-serving to her and her only.

Don't the Republicans understand it yet, if it doesn't benefit Sarah, then Sarah don't care.

Why don't you focus on Obama who can't seem to do anything well unless it involves a stage and a teleprompter.

As a Montanan, I say, our governor has a Montana sense of humor....we're smart a$$es to the bone! We'll take dig where we can because everyone takes digs at his wardrobe of jeans and bolo ties! He's not just some s##t kicker from Montana and Gov. Palin should take note of what bipartisanship can do for a state. We actually have a budget SURPLUS, and he's also looking out for us on the jobs front by pushing for alternative energy companies to come to Montana. We are a very conservative state but we know who we like and that's why he represents us as does Sen. Max Baucus and Sen. Jon Tester. If anything, ABC news has taken the Gov's comments and turned it into ribbing but what the rest of the country fails to notice is that it's our way in the west. GET OVER YOURSELVES REPS!!!
