Will Ferrell is hilarious and he's awesome in this show as our stupid villain president Dubya. His brother Patrick Ferrell is a super funny break dancing secret service agent. Hope your seats aren't directly under his brother or you will be distracted by his out of breath nose wheezing.

And I thought it would be a flop. So I was wrong and Mencken was right.

There was a story today in the WSJ about how all this current financial/housing chaos, and its probable ensuing depression, might lead to another golden age af American writing & arts, like the 30s with Hemmingway, Salinger, great filmakers, etc. What a wonderful ray of light in a very bleak forecast. I really hope there is one sweet grape put forth by this poisoned vine! In the meantime I also hope this show's success is only the beginning of a nation that lifts its head up, looks around, and seriously questions where it is going. This is a crossroads, but true creativity seems to blosson in such dire shifts.

You're about two decades off for Salinger and Hemingway only put out one novel in the '30's.

Yep, and it's clear history is one of the last subjects people care to study.

You may be right about the references, but RoseBlue's train of thought isn't flawed. Great theatre, cinema and literature are produced during hard times. Also great comedy. Personally, I can't wait for the next incarnation of the Marx Brothers--even the Three Stooges--whose stock in trade revolved around the great divide between the working and privileged classes, and the wannabe white collars.

It's not a "play", it's a one man show with Will Ferrell! If Chris Rosk did Broadway it would sell out also. Broadyway it getting killed right now.

The economic success of the Dubya Show is surprising to me in light of the 20% approval ratings that the subject gets as he hustles his sorry carcass out the DC exit door.

High praise to Will Ferrell for making the show a success. A huge tribute to you Will and to your superb acting talent as you portray this pathetic loser.

I look forward to seeing you mimic the scene in which Dubya played dress up on the carrier flight deck in front of his lying-@ss Mission Accomplished banner.

I think the approval ratings are probably the reason that people are willing to go to a show in which the president is mocked.

It does sound like fun.

Well, I guess to revive the economy and profitable business investment, we need to have more realistic reenactments of the previous 8 years...
