Frieida's Ex: "Slumdog" Tore Us Apart

THE heartbroken fiancé of Slumdog Millionaire beauty Freida Pinto today reveals how the film's success and her "infatuation" with co-star Dev Patel finished their relationship.

Dumped Rohan Antao blames the hit movie and her on-screen lover for wrecking his wedding plans.

As gorgeous Freida prepares to walk down the red carpet at tonight's Oscars on the arm of the Slumdog star, Rohan told the News of the World: "She ended it with me after getting close to Dev Patel.

"Now everywhere I go I see them on billboards. I am devastated."

Yeah it was the film.. Riiight. It couldn't possibly be him or the fact she might have outgrown him and this was the catalyst. Or maybe she wanted to trade up. Either way she obviously wasn't what she wanted or was into at this moment in time anymore.

If I was him I'd look on the bright side he can at the very least say "Yeah I used to hit dat!"

What a surprise. In India there are not love marriages. She probably meet her ex through a dating services. Now that she is famous it would be silly not to choose herself instead of letting her parents do it for her.

As he will learn in life you have to fish in your own pool. Fame is unusual for most folk and many don't handle it well. The girl you may have escorted to the prom can either become your wife, a hooker, or famous acting celebrity, etc. Her path will determine who she dates or ends with as a mate. Pinto will now be exposed to people, and they to her, she might not have known and will start fishing in a larger and different pool. Remember Anna Marie Nicole, started off working at dairy Queen, went into big bust modeling, did pole dancing, married a very wealthy man and had the whole country attuned to her death. I myself was raised in a lower end economically and socially small CA town. Got and education, became a Naval officer, received an MBA and then had more access (and married) higher end well educated women that would never have gone out with or looked at me in high school. Win the lotto, sell drugs, become a movie star yourself and you may not ever again be concerned about Pinto again.

The sad thing is the fact she will regret her decision. And the more she becomes Americanized because I am sure she will now be relcating to Los Angeles, she will realize in the coming years that LA is a place that will use you and abuse you, chew you up and spit you out. She will get a reputation that she has never had before. Slow down girlfriend....slow down.
