Conan's Final Episode Scores Big In The Ratings

CONAN O'Brien went out with a "Late Night" bang.

O'Brien's final "Late Night" telecast Friday snared the show's best overnight ratings in two years.

Friday's "Late Night," which included much reminiscing by O'Brien - and a visit from former sidekick Andy Richter - averaged a 2.6 overnight rating, according to Nielsen data.

Conan is not funny and will never be able to replace Leno. I'm glad Leno will be on at 10:00PM and I for one will be watching. At 11:35 I will be sleeping.

To me, Conan has never been funny or particularly good as a host. Although he seems to be a likeable enough guy. I watched several shows his first two seasons, then off and on over the years, more off than on, and he's not gotten a whole lot better. There were less curtain calls and reminiscences on Johnny Carson's final show, and he was leaving for good!!! Conan is just moving to California to take over the Tonight Show. I hope he improves as an interviewer. As of now, he is a mild shade of atro cious.

I'd have to agree with your comments and add that I still, after all these years, can't get past his puffy hair. Makes his head look a bit lopsided. I think all the late night shows are boring anyway. That could be because I have to go to work every morning.
