This is how you become a wealthy country. Get billions in aid from Uncle Sam. Blow up your neighbor. Said neighbor gets billions in relief. whoprofits.org

Good for her, about time someone called them out. I'm still wondering why we always bend over backwards for them, makes a lot of those "conspiracy theories" almost believable.

Isn't it a felony to criticize Israel in any way, shape, or form?

i don't have the bill number handy but there is a bill in the house that's been floating around for awhile that would do just that.

you cannot advocate for an "unsanctioned" boycott of ONLY Israeli goods/products. No other country mentioned. It is against the law to let people know which companies they could choose to boycott, if they wanted. (but it's easy to google and get the info for yourselves!). God Save the Internet.

first of all, all the "Jewish Leaders" mentioned are those from NY. Most likely Bush supporters. Most likely the far right of the whole Jewish community. That does not speak for all Jews nor do they speak for Israel. I think it is in Israel's best interest right now that Gaza be quickly rebuilt. Not for Hamas but for the Palestinians. It's also better that more outsiders do it rather than Hamas/iran - because that only creates more Hamas supporters among Palestinians.

Why does everyone else always know what is best for the Palestinians?

The power of extremist fifth-columnists to subvert OUR foreign policy to Israel's supposed interest, at the expense of OUR real interests, is a clear & present danger to the United States; that has NOT changed under Obama! AIPAC, JINSA, AEI, & PNAC subvert our electoral process to such an extent that if a candidate does not kowtow to this group of war-mongers, they will be attacked in the most extreme vitriolic manner, witness their vicious attacks on Pres Jimmy Carter, professors Walt & Mearsheimer and now Hillary. ANY criticism of Israel or its racist policies & occupation/colonization (theft) of Palestinian land, much less mass killings of civilians, is met with howls of outrage & the worn out charge of "anti-Semitism"or "bias". The ugliness of their attacks is representative of their mistreatment of the Palestinians under their brutal occupation & policies of collective punishment.
We must limit the power of these extremist agents of a foreign country & not tolerate any interference in our elections or foreign policy. If any other country or special-interest group tried this subversion of America they would be run out of town on a rail! Why is the pro-Israel lobby allowed to control our press and elected reps?

You go Hillary. The state of Israel is denying the Palestinians' right to exist as human beings. The reactionary right has seized control in Israel and represents a threat to Israel than no Arab state could. I equate Manifest Destiny with Zionism because imperialism is equated with God to justify aquisition of land. I receive e-mails equating Palestinians with animals and apes. How do you respond to such insulting and demeaning e-mails without being criticised as being anti-semitic? I am sure that some Southerners promoted such Jim Crow tactics during Reconstruction (and thereafter) Who is being racist after all? Jimmy Carter has it right and so does Hillary.

I get really tired of the hyperbole and one-sided press treatment for Israel. The press article was so conniving and slanted, saying Clinton "hammered" Israel and "demanded" Israel speed up aid to Gaza. Did anyone notice there were no quoted statements from Clinton in the article? The reporter is editorializing the issue. Yeah, I'm real sure Clinton "hammered" Israel and "demanded" things of Israel. That's a very effective way to maintain relations among countries. Give me a f-ing break, Mort Zuckerman.

Mort is simply parroting what has become the automatic response to the smallest hint of weak support for Israel. It's just this sort of commentary that ensures that there will never be peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Until there is respect for valid opposition to Israel's policies, we, and they, are fated to suffer through conflict without end.

Opinion does change, it isn't set in stone. Change begins with conversations such as the voices heard here. We have Hillary's back and when our representatives understand that we expect better of them, we may see change and an end to the mindless posturing in DC. Most have remained silent, fearful of retribution or criticism but it's obvious, many of us share the same point of view. Not borne of hate but of common sense and the desire for peace. The right wing Israeli lobby is very strong - we need to push back with equal conviction. The Israeli people deserve better than they've had, the Palestinian people deserve better than they've had and so do we.

Hillary sees suffering. How can her heart not be opened up if she is cares about humanity no matter whether the people are Jewish, Christian, Muslims, etc.

Somebody needs to share a copy of their "How to Make Friends and Influence People" with these folks who are attempting to criticize HRC in her and the US's attempt to provide some much needed help in Gaza. Apparently, as long as she keeps her mouth shut and goes along with anything I s r a e l wants, she's good to go. I happen to like this side of HRC and support her and the efforts of the US. Those who don't were, in the end, users anyway!

Thank you Hillary. It is time someone in our govenment paid attention to the other side of this conflict. When present-day Israel was "created" in 1948 with the help of Britain and the United States, the Palestinian Arab population in the territory that became Israel, was expelled or fled, becoming refugees in surrounding Arab countries. Still more Palestinians fled from the areas subsequently captured by Israel in 1967 (known collectively as the Occupied Territories and often referred to in Israel as “administered territories”), and where thousands of Jews have continued to settle. I believe if I had forcefully been removed from my home and land to which I held title and deed, I might have reacted much the same as many Palestinians did. Although I do not condone all the violence that has taken place over the past decades, I absolutely do understand it. One man's hero and freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. I sincerely hope that our current government can start laying the foundation for a mutual peace in this part of the world that is so ravaged by war and injustice. A peaceful and just Middle East will benefit the entire world.

good job Hillary. Israel should no longer run our Foreign Policy towards Muslims they have done it for far too long.

We have made big mistakes because of Israel, time for them to own up to there violence and unwillingness to cooperate with Palenstine.
