I think DocTwain has some anger issues and he must be on the wrong site. You need to check in with the Rush, Hannity, Colter, Jendel gang.

Let me remind EVERYONE and this is the former senator who OPPOSED the war in Iraq because he said Bush/Cheney lied and we should have been concentrating our efforts on Afghanistan, afterall, THEY are the ones who attacked us on 911. If our men and women were going to put there lives on the line, let it be for the real cause.

I love the way he looks when he talks about our soliders and their families and when he discusses ALL the sacrafices they have made and are still making. God Bless Our Troops.

Gregory on MSNBC trying without much success to hammer home limp points about this being a vindication of GWB policies, and wondering if this is actually a "victory." He is a shallow excuse for a journalist, endlessly recycling dead talking points and memes.

Their deaths were unnecessary.

if they were stateside it would never have happened.

Dont join up during ill-conceived wars....and you dont die.

I forget, WHY did they die?

Defending our constitution?

Or was it for EXXON-Mobil?

If only they had heeded Mark Twain:

Bush sent them in - they served their country and made the ultimate sacrifice with honor.

Werent we misled into this war and these soldiers happily joined the gang of their own free will?
AFTER everyone knew IRAQ did not attack us on 911?

I dont get warm fuzzies when robbers die during commission of a crime.
Should I get them for this criminal venture?

Life 101. Dont join the Military during agressive wars. Empire building (including Globalist Corporate empire) is UNAMERICAN.

Our military was hijacked in 2003 (if not sooner)

I felt so proud and I realized that for the past 8 years I have not felt a part of my own country. This wonderful man is a gift. The young people must have felt proud that they have this brilliant
man as C&C, someone that speaks to them like adults and recognizes them and their families.
He really does speak to the better angles, doesn't he?

The young people who worked tirelessly to get him elected are proud too. As are those of us who joined them.
I love President Obama.

The quality of the ideas and the clarity of the delivery leaves no doubt that the president has spent endless hours consulting experts and thinking this thing through.

Mr president!
Mr Cognitively complex!

Bush really never gave a damn about appreciating the subtleties of the middle east and American military power

Moral?
Announce an end to hostilities, THAT would be moral!

We are tresspassing!

What happened to "When they stand up, we will stand down"?

It is only DUE. Our men and women have offered their lives, their family lives (because it all goes hand in hand) and our future to these wars. We HAVE to take care of them. There is no option B for this matter.

Thank you all soldiers that have given and given up so much of yourselves to ALL of us.

I wouldn't have had the good fortune to attend college myself if the GI Bill hadn't been available for my father upon his return from WWII. He attended college and was able to establish a career because of this that allowed for me to have his financial help when I attended. We need an improved GI Bill for our current troops so that they have the same opportunities for themselves and their families.

I think this issue is close to our president's heart because his grandfather benefitted from the GI bill.

The troops were glad to hear that more resources are being allocated toward the diagnosis and treatment of PTSD. We've had too many casualties from this.
