Here at PowerShift, I've been able to meet face-to-face with a lot of green bloggers and editors. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Leah Lamb, who runs the green channel over at Current. She told me about a video in which she asked a worm composting expert to talk to her about composting technique in a segment called "Green or Gross." Says Leah:
This is all about using worms to eat up your food scraps and then using their poop to feed your gardens. I first learned about it from my obsessively compulsively neat and orderly friend Sasha, who kept a worm bin in his pantry. It seemed easy enough, until I started it myself in my backyard. My roommates have one word for my version: gross.
