Winter Snow Storm Photos: SLIDESHOW

A massive winter storm pummeled the U.S. today and yesterday, dumping snow all over the nation, including areas which don't usually see much snow, like Alabama. To the delight of children everywhere, schools have been closed all over the Southeast and Northeast, and revelers have been making the most of the unexpected day off.

Traveling, however, has slowed to a crawl as hundreds of flights have been canceled and morning rush hour became a nightmare as people dealt with up to a foot of snow on their way to work.
