Jason Mesnick On Show Sex And His Shocking 'Bachelor' Switcheroo (VIDEO)

As you know by now, "The Bachelor" switched fiancees after the finale. Jason Mesnick proposed to Melissa Rycroft on the show, but six weeks later changed his mind and went back to second place Molly Malaney.

Jason sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night after the finale and reunion special aired to talk about the developments and his relationship with Molly. Kimmel asked him about all the juicy details including if he'd really slept with nine of the contestants (no) and why things didn't work out with Melissa.

"You're really with [Molly]? Is there going to be a special tomorrow where we find something else weird out?" Kimmel asked.

"No," Mesnick responded.

Melissa did not look happy when she came on the set before Jason "dumped" her ... so I would guess she knew things would not work out. Boy, she got a great trip to New Zealand out of the deal and probably a few other perks. She will be fine. If things really do work out for Jason and Molly -- in "real life" -- that would be great. And, everyone who says they won't watch the next Bachelor -- I bet they will. I have said that before and somehow get drawn into it. Perhaps I do not watch every show -- every minute of it -- but I just have to keep up with what's happening. Guess we are all "voyeurs"!

ABC soaked this for all it was worth without compassion for human lives...
the "right" thing to do was to end the show with the fist rose ceremony, he picked someone, end of story... what happened after should have been left private, it was aired just for ratings and more $$$$! REAL People have had their reputations tarnished all for $$$ and a contract that gave ABC that right.

I hope someone approaches Melissa's and offers to pay her ABC fine for breaking her silence and she let us know what the REAL truth was behind all that went down and NOT the ABC taped/spliced version!

I stopped these types of shows years ago. They always end badly and it's just disturbing for me to see all these women fighting over one man. They need to have a higher sense of self-worth. Deplorable.

it's all The Bachelor's fault (the show), or the network, ABC.
i stopped watching after the 10th season cuz i knew they're going to break up (no offense). ABC should just scrap the show....th­e show is sooo depressing­...i mean...eve­ry season, it gets more dramatic..­.let me guess what they'll plan after...ma­ybe the bachelor will choose both women! this has never happened before in the show's history (they always do stuff that has NEVER happened on the show before).

I don't think he is an arse for changing his mind. It's human nature and his prerogative. Before I saw this interview, I thought he was an arse for breaking up with Melissa on national TV. However, if you listen/watch carefully you will see Jason specifically state that the arrangement was the relationship would happen *in front of the cameras*. If they weren't seeing each other on a regular basis towards the end and the only matter left was for her to given him back the ring, then I can see how it might be taped. (Not that I agree with that.)

If you are going to blame someone for the antics of After The Final Rose Ceremony, blame the producers and the contract. Also notice that during the ATFRC show there was no audience..­.which meant that the producers knew about the break-up ahead of time and prepared for it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was mandated (by the contract) that the break-up occur on national television if it occured within a certain time frame.

I only watched two shows of this stupid stupid sitcom. These are just people who want to be on TV and are trying desperately hard to do something "different" so they will last more than 15 minutes. Jason is a major jerk who thinks he is a "prince" and, obviously, never got the negative reinforcement from his parents that he so deserved because they, too, think he is a "prince". Ridiculous waste of time. I can't believe I watched last night but the way it was all so fake just fascinated me. I couldn't turn the bad acting off.
Poor Molly, lucky Melissa...­.at least Melissa is cute and pretty. She will be fine.

I am proud to say that I have never watched any of these reality shows. I have no interest. My family watched American Idol for the first 2 seasons, but lost interest after. When are the networks going to lose these shows and put something interesting back on TV? I guess we will continue to rent movies from Netflix. Thanks, Netflix.
