Limbaugh: Jake Tapper Not Obama's "Butt Boy" (AUDIO)

First Posted: 04/03/09 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 02:05 PM ET

Look who's honoring Jake Tapper now! Rush Limbaugh, whose Octomom-like ubiquity is ensured some significant extension thanks to his use of the term "Butt Boy" -- which is always an awesome addition to the political discourse. Anyway, according to Limbaugh, CNN's Ed Henry is a "butt boy." Meanwhile, ABC's "Jake Tapper is the one guy that's outside of the butt boy bubble in the White House press room." I don't know if there's some sort of trophy that comes along with being decreed 'not a butt boy,' but Tapper should probably avoid it.

[UPDATE:]

Jake Tapper has responded. By Twitter, naturally!

There are excellent reasons to hate Bush, Rush and all their lackey drones. Let's get real. There is no longer a "loyal oposition". Politics is not just a friendly game or debating club. To the Repuglicons it is about serious bloody carnage. Anyone to the Left of Rush needs to understand this. As a 2nd Amendment Lefty, I say "Bring it on" "Let's git ur dun".

ahhh... it seems the bush haters have found a new target of their manufactured rage... The left programs it's troops to hate whoever their most formidable enemy is... and off you guys go like angry sheep, limbaaaahhh baaaaahhddd.

listen to him... use your own head to draw your own conclusions.

If you don't know what he's saying to 20 million people... you are only half politically aware.

Did you notice how Americans tuned-out the bush haters? They didn't want to hear your drivel.. it only made you more irrelevant than you already were. And now it looks like you're going to do it again... off to the margins of social debate.

Adios!

I always though Limburger was a latent heterosexual. Now we know what's on his teensy mind.

It does seem that Mr. Limbaugh is a self-proclaimed expert on the subject of "butt boys".

I am getting rather sick of all this coverage of the jiggling mound of jello

Hmm lets name some of Limbaugh's new "butt boys" (his words not mine- I have more class than that) Jindal, Steele.

Does Rush get any lower or less classy than that? I'm sure he does, but even this is low.

Love Tapper's comment! It does indeed sound smelly!
How does Rush think he can talk so nasty and still be taken seriously? Who's in Rush's "butt-boy bubble"? All those grovelling apologizers in the last few weeks?

Beautiful!! Keep it coming Rush. What a train wreck. Just to think, those on CNN and MSNBC questioned why would Obama want to engage Rush Limbaugh.

The EXPERTS said it was a mistake.

I'm sure that Barck and Rahm are laughing at these clowns.

Rush for some reason, thinks he is relevant.

I cant believe what I'm witnessing. You republicans are being PLAYED!! It is so FUNNY.

This it totaly the JET EYED MIND TRICK

Rush is about Rush, period!! As long as he keeps his 400 million per year, he will do every thing he can to hold on and spread propaganda to the poor and uneducated. He's fill with hatred for anybody who is poor, that needs a little help from the government. He feels that very American have the same opportunity that he has, by lying, hating, stealing and being a coward.

You just described Rush's childhood.

If Tapper is smart (seriously in question) he'll avoid associations with the gaseous one.
10:55 AM on 03/04/2009
Tapper's career just took a nose-dive!
He'll thank Rush for that, unless he
moves to FAKE NEWS next-

Giving Limbaugh so much face time is exactly the wrong thing to do~

Disagree. Rush is a polarizing figure that turns off 80% of Americans (look at the recent numbers about his positive/negative ratings). I believe that he IS the de facto leader of the GOP, not because he has any better ideas than the rest of them, but because of a lack of well known or visible conservative options. When the chips are down people will rally around what they know. The extreme republican base (which is probably only about 20% of them, but accounts for the most vocal and unified wing of the GOP) will rally around Rush because thats what they know. This will drive more moderate republicans, who tend to disagree with Rush, towards the middle. The more that Rush can be associated with the Republican Party and specifically shown to be the intellectual (used loosely) leader of the party, the better for liberals/democrats and the more support for Obama you will see from the GOP (especially at the state and local level).
