A sound presentation by Geithner!

The two areas that were glossed over are:

1. Why do the Executives who caused the Crisis through Greed, Incompetence, and Corruption still in thier positions in the Banks and AIG. Particularly why is the Bank of America Executive Lewis who is the only executive of the top 25 Wall Street Hall of Shame still working!

2. Why should the Bank owned Elite FED not be stress tested and placed under Treasury and/or reporting to the President?

Why are the rethugs still bitching about Geithner's tax problem? Is that really the most pressing problem at this stage of the proceedings? These people truly have no sense, no clue and no ideas. And personally, I am very ambivalent about Geithner.

I am growing tired of the Republican A-Holes! President Obama has been in office a little over a month and already has done more for the working men and women of this country than GW did in 8 years. The issues we face are not easily solved nor will they go away in the near future. If the GOP continues down the path they are traveling much longer, they will need to be gathered up and sent to a deserted island in the middle of whatever ocean will have them. The rest of the world LOVES Obama and so does a MAJORITY of Americans. So the ReTHUGS can be blown into oblivion with the likes of Rush, John McBush, Boenher etc. because they stand for nothing, they do nothing and they are nothing.

I have been listening to The World of Finance According to Tim. He needs some public speaking lessons and to stop mumbling. He does not sound confidant. No wonder they don't let him out more than once every two weeks.

He needs to get up in front of a state university college economic students, if he can fly with them, he will be alright, if not, well...next...

Get rid of Geithner and Summers, they are the problem not the solution.

The sooner Obama realizes it the better off we all will be.

OBAMA is the problem
He hired both Geithner and Summers.
They are definitely not free agents.

Why is no interest in investigating OBAMA's unnatural interest in giving taxpayer money to bankers so they can live even better than they do now?

I don't see why these two are being coupled. Summers is the one who's been on the soap box for the last several years talking about the shift in income from the middle class to the rich. Geithner is Paulson 2.0. The only difference is the talking points they parrot as they shovel yet more money at banks while condescendingly telling people how complicated everything is as an excuse for not saying why they're really doing it. I don't think they've done that as a way of hiding nefarious intentions. I think they've done it because they have no clue of how to actually fix it. Geithner doesn't seem to have any more ideas about what to do than he did when he didn't have any ideas about what to do about Lehman when he was head of the NY Fed.

Throwing Geithner into the mix didn't and won't result in Obama's desired end of getting the best possible ideas from the widest variety of perspectives. It's just resulting in too many cooks in the kitchen.

Why don't investigate Bush's interest in this as well. Since, we are on the subject!

Since Obama and many other economists KNOW what is happening, Geitner and Summers know where the land mines are...this has to go smoothly, no tanking for the planet-thank you very much! We are directly tied to EVERY country on this planet!

In the midst of a huge economic fire burning up our infrastructure, homes and businesses, the Republicans shout, "It will burn itself out -- leave it alone! And let's pray that President Obama fails."
