What's Your Reaction?

Brad Pitt was in DC on Thursday to meet with Nancy Pelosi and President Obama for his Make It Right foundation. Pitt, dressed in a three-piece suit with his top shirt button undone beneath his tie, appeared at a press conference with Pelosi and James Clyburn.

The visit was convenient as partner Angelina Jolie is currently filming "Salt" in DC.

Well, Thanks to the photographer for showing Brad in his best light. He is quite the most photogenic man in the world. A magical humanitarian with a heart of gold. I think his idea about green homes

( regardlessof the tragedy in Louisiana) --- is brilliant, and these model homes must be the example for the rest of the country. People in the highest government able to make changes should listen to him, and see what he has done first hand. This is a blueprint idea for America.

My guess is Brad is our new Thomas Edison.

BP needs to learn how to button up a shirt ,and tie a tie.

Yeah ... yeah, that's what he needs. He'd be real successful then. Maybe he could even get himself laid ...

Would it be too much for the gentleman/dude to have buttoned his collar?

His collar is probably a 16 &1/2 but he's too busy to buy the right size. I think it looks better off anyway. Some how I think it was tough to button the shirt for him.

I posted a response to all the dissing I got on page 2. I thanked those who disliked what I said. I don't see this as a place for essays. It is one of many places where people just vent and express their opinions. Sometimes they are just kneejerk impressions but I don't retreat from what I said in my original post nor my response. In this soundbyte world it is difficult to present any point in context.
I must dispel the notions of some that I somehow am a fan of Limbaugh or any of his ilk. The words I would use to discribe them begins with putrid and then get rather nasty. You want to see some really weird stuff? Go to townhall.com. Psycho Central. Peace. Flobots Rock.

I just don't buy any of it. It's all part of their PR machine like their big PR agreements with CNN, People Mag, etc I don't like Brad Pitt and I don't like his girlfriend. I think they are mediocre actors and sleazy human beings.

Haters are such a drag to be around..

Haters? What are you talking about? Have you actually seen one of their movies lately? Notice how fast they go to DVD? As for sleazy, facts always speak for themselves. It's all PR and you are taking it in hook, line and sinker. I've got that ocean front property in Arizona waiting for you...

There are some photos of the MIR houses in the January issue of Architectural Digest. The houses look very nice and well constructed enough to withstand any hurricane.

I was impressed that the MIR foundation took the time to talk to people who live in the Lower Ninth and ask them what features they most wanted to see in those houses, rather than just building them without any concern for the people who would be living in them.

Wasn't MIR a Russian space station back in the 90s? It's nice those astronauts are helping out Brad Pitt.

Forever? Children grow up. They could buy up real estate in Paris, Rome and Spain. Why should they spend their time with charities and care about people suffereing? Maybe because they can. I bet you would if you could. Don't be so condesending.

Perhaps Brad would like to make a movie : "How Congress passed earmarked legislation, while the US economy tanked". At least Brad has his Swiss home if he needs it. I wonder how their values are holding up? Possibly it beats a UBS account.

As opposed to the past 8 years of earmarks a Republican congress passed as we were on our way to tanking???? Drudge is calling... get outta here.

I am so proud of Brad Pitt's accomplishments. Assisting those who lost their homes because of Katrina is a cause that is close to everyone's hearts, or should be. It seems insane that 4 and a half years after Katrina many folks still do not have homes, but then we are just now emerging from our Bushinan nightmare.

Brad, keep up the good work, and know that your efforts are appreciated.

Have a friend from NOLA who says the Pitt-Jolie's are highly thought of and protected there. She said that shop keeps get offered money by the TMZ types all the time to give a heads up when a JP is in town, but it's always a no go, and she's even known a few to kick a paparazzi a s s out of their establishment when caught trying to take a sneek picture. NOLA residents are like that anyway no matter ones station in life and I think that's why it's such a great place to live.

Why? The people in New Orleans have been very protective of the J-Ps privacy ever since they bought a house there. That's the main reason they enjoy living there so much.
