Brad's actions lend him real attraction.

Let's see an actor who has unselfishly dedicated himself to rebuilding a city that is still in desperate need when he could be jet setting around the globe and being the mega celebrity that he is OR a fumbling Governor that publicly stated his plans to refuse money from the government that would help his people based on a “principle” ……

Sure why not feel sorry for the selfish politician but when a celebrity does good and frankly does what the government should have done… well ten let us just rip a good deed apart ….

To all you haters out there…..
don’t be jealous of Brad because he’s prettier than you …. Be thankful that we have people like him in this world who have such amazing compassion and sense of duty towards his fellow man because what the gentleman said could not be more true… we are all neighbors….. and we should always think of treating each other with love, empathy, compassion and most importantly respect…..

Didn’t think I could love Brad Pitt anymore but … what a MAN!!! Now if we could only clone him……

First of all, Huffpolice, you are inconsistent, and you interrupt the flow too often.

That said, I admire Brad Pitt for caring about the welfare of others and doing more than pay lip service.

The republicans are so frustrated and angry that they do not make sense. They just spout evil as usual. Great going Brad. Living in New Orleans and doing great things with his hands and words not like the right wing group of haters.

Brad could have been selfish and stayed married to Jenifer. Instead, he married the right lady, gave of himself to her and the people of New Orlens.

LOL! That makes me want to gag, just a bit, but I definitely am impressed with what he's done in New Orleans. I'm going there in two weeks, and I'm going to check out some of his houses.

Not so fast with the tax accounting...at least right off the bat i can see that the non-profit and generous donations made in full public view by Mr. Pitt are going to have a nice effect on last years taxes, how about you, give much cash to charities last year?

Is Brad complaining?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 05:06 PM on 03/05/2009

Nope. He's not. He seems to be okay with that. And he is smart enough to be backing the right kind of innovative technology at the same time he is helping people. Hmmm, maybe he is actually trying to help move our country forward? Wadd'ya think?

I doubt he's worried, or that he needs your kind advice to him to not worry.

Ok! Anyone that has anything negative to say about Brad Pitt may want to take a powder.

The fact that he is enthusiastic about architecture and is using his fame & fortune to further such is beyond reproach.

A person like Pitt could be spending millions on yachts cruising beautiful seas or on lavish parties and fun or astoundingly costs works of art or jewelry -- instead, he builds homes for poor mostly black residents of New Orleans, raises his kids and makes movies. Sure is a LOT to hate there....!!
Americans must be insane. Blast Brad Pitt for doing good works but let gargantuanly greedy millionaire CEO's and inept politicians who have destroyed the country if not the world totally off the hook.

Typical.

It's a delight to watch the haters come in here and try to smear their hatred all over the walls.

Buzz off, losers. We're busy fixing the problems you caused.

I never knew that I would come to admire Brad Pitt, especially after that dumb vampire movie. He is trying to do his part for those in need. Kudos to him. And he is not a bad actor, after all.

Well unlike Joe the plumber, Brad the Pitt is looking for ways to help others apart from himself. Although, I would admit it is kind of an unfair comparison.

The point is not whether Brad Pitt is doing good work in New Orleans; he very well may be doing wonders. The point is that it looks ridiculous for Speaker Pelosi to be turning to a Hollywood celeb for advice, especially during this time of chaos and crisis. It makes the Dems look weak, desperate and foolish.

Oh don't be silly. There have been ties between Hollywood "good works" and Washington politicians for decades - especially during times of crisis. It's nothing new nor does it paint some floridly over-the-top picture of Speaker Pelosi and the Democratic Party.
