Edwards Scandal Baby Photo: Rielle Hunter's Daughter Celebrates First Birthday

Fox News has a picture of Rielle Hunter celebrating her daughter's first birthday, which the network says "speaks for itself":

Former Sen. John Edwards (D-NC) confessed last summer to having an affair with Hunter. Friends of Hunter's said at that time that Edwards was the baby's father. "I've seen the pictures of the baby she looks like John Edwards. She's got his eyes and jaw line and lips, but she does have Rielle's nose," Hunter's sister Roxanne Druck said.

While Edwards expressed his willingness to take a paternity test, Hunter has refused. "Rielle will not participate in DNA testing or any other invasion of her or her daughter's privacy now or in the future," a lawyer said in August.

My heart goes out to Mrs. Edwards and all the children. They are the ones who suffer for the selfish choice that Mr. Edwards made! My family will never be the same since my brother made the selfish decision to have an affair while his wife was undergoing treatment for colon cancer. The pain of the betrayal was greater than all the chemo, surgery, and radiation my sister-in-law underwent. Fortunately my brother was smart enough to have a vasecotomy before he went astray. John Edwards was correct when he said his actions were arrogant and narcissistic. What a jerk!

John Edwards and Rielle Hunter both ruined his career, and what little reputation Rielle ever had.

John shouldn't have cheated, sick wife or not. And Rielle shouldn't have slept with a person who was not hers to take.

I wonder how Rielle would feel if she were married and someone else slept with her husband.

People are sure able to hurt others, but would be crushed if they were on the receiving end.

A friend of Hunter's simply wanted a decent photo of mother and child to appear in print. It's watermarked with the Fox News logo so it cannot be reproduced improperly."

Does anyone seriously believe she isn't orchestrating all this publicity? Her friends provide a posed photo from the child's first birthday (sure to get attention) and comment on what she's thinking and plans to do. If she didn't arrange it, she has the worst "friends" in the world. Oh, and for the "decent photo" remark, maybe one of her "friends" should buy her a comb.
