Michelle Obama Pretty In Pink Cardigan And Lipstick While Serving Lunch At Soup Kitchen (PHOTOS)

Isaac Mizrahi's first Liz Claiborne collection just hit stores and, on Thursday, she was spotted wearing a white ruffle Liz Claiborne New York blouse while visiting Miriam's Soup Kitchen near the White House. She teamed the look with a pink cardigan, black pants and a Sonia Rykiel plastic belt.

Michelle Obama served lunch on Thursday at Miriam's Kitchen, a center that provides meals, case management services and housing support to nearly 250 men and women in Washington. Read more about and see more photos of the visit here.

While there the First Lady wore a white ruffled shirt, a pink cardigan, a red and clear plastic belt, black slacks and brown pumps. She was also wearing pink lipstick.

First Lady Michelle Obama's STYLE is helping others and hopefully showing
us how we too can help.

Two nights ago, I enjoyed a dinner in Chicago with several friends.
The number of homeless has grown over the past eight years of Bush
so I always keep some dollar bills at the ready to give to those
asking for help.

Something new...............
The 3 homeless people we encountered on our walk back to our cars
didn't ask for our money.

They asked if they could have the leftover food we were taking home.

And she is wearing the same belt from the O cover. Love Mrs. O...but the cardigan with belt look is getting a bit tired.

She is so hot!!! And everyone is right, she has improved since becoming first lady, it must be the glow she carries. Man, i thought Palin was hot (ok she still is), but wow.No disrespect to the Pres of course lol

Why is her clothing secondary to the purpose of the event she was attending? I love looking at our wonderful First Lady as much as the next person but this constant objectification is getting annoying. How about more stories on the good works she's doing and less on her fashion choices?
