NEW YORK — "Seinfeld" isn't coming back, but its stars will be together again this fall on HBO.

The network says that Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards will appear in several episodes of "Curb Your Enthusiasm." The HBO comedy stars Larry David, who helped create "Seinfeld."

HBO wasn't giving out any other details about the appearances, which were first reported on the Entertainment Weekly Web site . But they are sure to be eagerly anticipated by fans of "Seinfeld," which continues to be shown frequently in syndication. http://www.ew.com

YES!! I'm so happy to hear it!! i've only ever watched season 1 of CURB and I lOVE it!! Someday i'll hopefully watch all of them and I look forward to seeing the cast of Seinfeld(another fave show) on CURB!! I've also moved on from Michael Richards comments. life is hopefully a forward progression in personal growth and I hope he has grown from his mistakes. We all say things we shouldn't and regret at some point in our lives, some of us more often than others and hopefully we become better for those mistakes. I think those episodes will be "pretty pre..tt..y good".

I love Larry David and his show. It is the best thing on TV. I watch him every night before falling asleep as a means to mediate the concerns of our economy. I appreciate the laughs. Can't wait for the new season to begin.

Is Kramer gonna be in there too. Is he gonna go on a rant. nothing he says or does now will convince me where his real feelings lie about minorities.

Lest we forget

Larry David plays a jerk but is a decent human being. Jerry Seinfeld resembles a decent human being but is an arrogant jerk.

Nobody knows if he is a decent person or not . Although Jerry obviously isn't and he seems to even resent it when people who aren't famous approach him - I admire what he accomplished in his career but I don't admire him.

This is great news. I still watch the reruns of the show. Everytime I watch a show I laugh just as hard as I did when I saw it the first time. I am an African American who forgave Michael Richards for his goof up. He to me is still the funniest on the show.

Nah, George was the funniest on the show. After George, his parents. And then Suzy.

As for Michael Richards, I've moved on too. I'm African American, and still watch the reruns. If there was Seinfeld Jeopardy, I'd cream you.

I think including Richards is genius. I can't WAIT to see how Larry David handles Michael Richards. And, to all of those that don't want to see him... you're all prudes who can't see gold even when it's staring you in the face.

It's a great chance to really turn up the volume on rumors and speculation about his backstage/behind the scene's personae.

It will be totally over the top, I'm sure.

i don't think it's going to be funnier. part of the humor in Seinfeld is that they were self-absorbed 30-somethings. Now they're mid-40 something latex salesmen. not quite the same thing, though Prickly Pete is ageless.

What happened to Michael Richards opened my eyes because I always made the mistake of intertwining the character an actor played with the actor; big mistake. I was personally hurt when I heard what happened with Michael Richards because out of all the cast members on Seinfeld "Kramer" was that last one I thought would be spewing racial epitahs at people and a dummy like me took it personally. That still is one of my favorite shows but I never looked at it the same after that tirade by Richards.

I can understand that but I don't feel the same way. When I watch Kramer on Seinfeld I only see Kramer. Likewise when I see a Dali painting I don't see the work of a fascist supporter though I find Dali to be a very despicable character.

I still watch the show, and have forgotten about Richard's tirade. Yeah, it was weird for a few months afterwards, but I moved on. Besides, according to me, George is by far my favorite character, then his parents. The Sid Farkas Bra Salesman kills me everytime.

Julia and Jason have made repeated Cameos. I can't remember if Jerry ever made an appearance but I know for a fact he was mentioned.

Larry was the voice of Steinbrenner on Seinfeld and also played Georges' fathers lawyer in one episode.

Jerry Seinfeld appeared for about 5 seconds in one episode (he's in the audience, shaking his head in embarassment, when Larry opens on Broadway in 'The Producers').

Lord, I can't wait to see Susie Greene vs. Elaine Benes. Please, please, please let them interact this time!

Yayayay! This is going to be AMAZING. I'm sure of it. Larry David will do a brilliant job writing something ridiculously clever for this.

I wonder how they'll approach Michael Richards in the episode? I mean, last we saw of him, he was spewing racist BS during a stand-up gig. Yikes!

Regardless, will NOT curb my enthusiasm. I blogged about it too: http://squareeyes.blinkx.com/?p=415
