Jennifer Aniston headed to Europe to promote Marley & Me and John Mayer stayed in L.A. to work on his music.
And just days after Aniston returned, they were a couple no more, sources confirm to PEOPLE.
"They had some disagreements and decided to not continue to see each other," says one source. "Jen is moving on with her life like she always does. She seems happy."
A second source says Mayer broke up with Aniston after she returned from Europe.

Jen, Jen, Jen. Well here we go again on my own.... As I sing a old eighties tune. The question isn't why she breaks up with another guy every year, but what does she need to love about herself to make her happy? Clearly as we continue to see her life, it's something that can be helped in a therapy session. I really think she needs to reflect on her life -- figure out what will make her happy and stop going back and forth trying to have a man in her life. Fix you, and all will come your way.
you know I am not a big fan of JA, but what I am less a fan of is these holier than thou assertions about what Jen "needs" to do or how she "needs" to find herself etc etc. Maybe she is happy with a new man in her life every once in a while. Maybe she is happy that she takes care of how she appears physically, the movie choices she makes, and the life decisions she has made. We don't know much about her life really. We only know the soundbytes - a watered down abbreviated distorted version. I would like to see how any of us would look under the kind of scrutiny and microscope that we put our celebrities through. If we have such a need to be able to relate to celebrities, then we need to become celebrities ourselves and be their friends. Otherwise, what we read in magazines and tabloids are not "what these people are about."

I have spent many years with my wonderful therapist. It hasn't been easy finding spiritual fulfillment as a little person. If I could get there, then I am sure that Jennifer could get there also. I am not hopeful for her though. She seems like such a superficial and vain person.

I admit I have a pic of Jennifer Whine-iston in my Angelina Shrine. However, I only include her pic because she has influenced Angelina's life, although very negatively. For this reason, I have X'ed Jen's face with a red magic marker.
PLAIN and SIMPLE- If you're getting married and your intended says they want children and you agree, if you change your mind later on, don't be surprised if they find someone else who feels the same way that they do and vice versa. This is why you TALK before you get married to see if you want the same things. If you don't want the same things, go your separate ways before you say I do.

Don't kid yourself - the divorce was about a lot more than kids. Pitt loved to travel. Guess what he was no longer able to do after marrying Aniston? She conveniently developed a fear of flying after 9/11. Well...a fear of flying unless the destination was Los Cabos, MX. THEN she could suck it up for 90 minutes. But go to Europe? No, that required an act of contrition (say, 120 straight days of dining with the Cox-Arquettes), 9 Hail Marys and 6 novenas. That's just one example. They LITERALLY had NOTHING in common. Pitt loved photography...Aniston couldn't be bothered unless she wanted him to take pix of her dog. Pitt didn't go see his parents for YEARS because Aniston thought his hometown was a backwater berg. His family came to them. Aniston couldn't be bothered to go to his parents 40th wedding anniversary because she was getting some rinky dink acting award...but expected him to escort her places over HIS professional commitments.

Aniston threw a fit that he didn't come the taping of the last Friends episode...yet she never mentioned that 2 years earlier she blew off his parents anniversary or the fact that he was working on M&MS that day on location and sorry, but the studio isn't going to cancel a day's shooting because your wife needs her hand held on her last day at work. I could go on and on and they may seem like petty things, but in the final analysis the Pitt/Aniston marriage was all about her and her needs. He came in forth on her pecking order - her work, her Godless Circle, her dog Norman...then Pitt. Contrast that to Jolie who told a Japanese interviewer that her priorities where her children, Brad, her UN work...and her job as an actress. Is there REALLY any doubt why Pitt left Aniston? I don't think so.

BTW - I didn't even get into how Aniston couldn't stand Pitt's motorcycle obsession...or how much she despised his devotion and love of architecture. Jolie? She hops on a bike and goes riding with him. Architecture? She takes him on his birthday to see a Frank Lloyd Wright house he'd been meaning to see for donkey years. Gives him expensive cameras for his birthday to because he loves photography. Speaks highly of him in interviews and doesn't continually dog him out by saying dumb stuff like he can't get away with being the sexiest man alive at home. At home he's, "Pick up your stuff, Brad. Shut the door, Brad." I mean come on...a guy is only going to put up with that kind of harping for only so long and then he's going to pack his Louis Vuittons and hit the door and never look back. Which is exactly what Pitt did. So when Fanistons start in Jolie "stealing" Pitt my standard response is, "No, she didn't steal Brad. Aniston threw him away."
