Karl Rove Can't Lead A Bush To Twitter

Here's a video of Politico's Patrick Gavin at the American Enterprise Institute's annual dinner, asking Karl Rove about Twitter -- which Rove has recently come to enjoy using, probably because it's the only thing he has that nobody wants to subpoena. Rove offers that Twitter is "fun," and that one person he likes to follow is an ETP buddy, Air America's Ana Marie Cox:

ROVE: One person I'm trying to follow is...Wonkette...

GAVIN: Ana Marie Cox?

ROVE: Yeah, yeah. Ana Marie Cox.But it's a little bit...you know, it's too personal for me at times.

GAVIN: She'd be very flattered to hear that.

Reached for comment, Cox responded: "I have to say it puts the dream I had about Alan Greenspan hitting on me into perspective."

Also, Rove says, George Bush will not be taking up Twittering anytime soon. Nor shall he be on the Facebooks. "Email," Rove offers, insisting that Bush sends "lots of emails." Not that you'd be able to find any.
