Will Ferrell's final night playing George W. Bush on Broadway is this Sunday, and while many of us didn't get the chance to see him in person, we can see the Saturday show live on HBO.


Ferrell has performed "You're Welcome, America. A Final Night With George W. Bush" to sell-out crowds, and took in $846,507.05 to break the house record at the Cort Theater. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive and Condi's lap dance was greeted with much acclaim.


The following clip is a promo for the HBO special which premieres March 14th at 9pm. The ex-presidents discuss wood for about a minute and half and never before has balsa been so funny.

The Bush special was a complete bore and so poorly researched that it
didn't even hold together. Even humor has to have logic so his ridiculous
bit about the Bush men getting lost in a mine was absurd. I don't think Marvin,
who has a colostomy, would go on such an outing.

After all the hype, I started watching it and was dull , boring and mainly bad writing . He was great on SNL. The problem was he overplayed it to death ! The real Bush was so much better......

There is nothing funny about George Bush or what George Bush did to this country--he totaled it during his eight years in office--and nothing to laugh at in Ferrell's tedious exercise. I would like to forget what happened in and to America during the Bush Administration. Begone, Will, and take Bush with you, never to see the light of day again.

We can't forget about George Bush. We actually need to learn a lot more about the Bush days. But I agree with you, nothing at all about GWB is funny, and those who try to make him seem that way are not funny either. And I love Will Farrell.
