Cheney On Limbaugh: "I Love Him" (VIDEO)

Many Republican leaders have squirmed lately when asked about Rush Limbaugh, fearful of angering the conservative talk show host but not willing to endorse his most incendiary remarks. Not so Dick Cheney, who offered a full-throated defense of Limbaugh on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday:

Q: What next for your party? There has been a big dust-up in recent days, in parts stoked by the White House, about Rush Limbaugh making some comments. David Frum, a conservative who worked in your administration, says that Rush Limbaugh is kryptonite, because he drives away the voters the Republicans need to build the road to discovery. Is Rush Limbaugh kryptonite?

CHENEY: No, Rush is a good friend. I love him. I think he does great work and has for years. He's now offered to debate President Obama on his radio show. Hell, I'd pay to see that! It would be interesting to have developed.

Birds of a feather flock together. Oh, I must correct that that statement because I should not associate all birds with these two buzzards. These vile buzzards are pathetic creatures. They're scavengers of the earth searching for another meal. They're the Frick & Frack, Mutt & Jeff, and the Heckle & Jeckle of the world. I wouldn't associate these two with clowns, because it may be insulting to some clowns. At least some clowns make you laugh, but these two make you cry. Cheney go back to your underground bunker and take the MotorMouth with you. Make sure you lock the hatch and throw away the key.

Thank God this man is no longer in office. He is representative of a party that does not care about the true needs of the people.

I can forgive those who receive untrue information from strangers. I cannot forgive those who know the truth and choose to lie. Cheney and Limbaugh know the truth and lie to enrich themselves. They ridicule those who live truthful lives. They believe those with inherited wealth are blessed, regardless of how they conduct themselves. They believe those who earn their wealth are pretenders and deserve scorn. These modern-day royalists deserve our contempt. They are responsible for our condition.
