Cheney Shrugs At Economic Crisis: Don't Blame Us (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON — Don't blame the Bush administration for all the country's economic problems.

That's the message from former Vice President Dick Cheney.

President Barack Obama constantly talks about the enormous economic troubles that he inherited when he took office in January. Cheney agrees that Obama did indeed came into power amid very difficult economic circumstances.

But Cheney says he doesn't think the Bush administration can be blamed for creating the economic woes. Cheney says it's a global financial problem. He says the idea that fault can assigned to the previous administration is "interesting rhetoric" but he doesn't think people care about that.

Cheney spoke on CNN's "State of the Union."

This is why we need to have Congress hold this Bush/Cheney Administration responsible. FAUX news will try to rewrite history, as well as Rush Windbag, but if we held them accountable then they would see whose fault it is. They need to be punished for trying to bankrupt and ruin the country and Government, and the sooner, the better. We need to get a special prosecuter on this NOW, and to find out where billions that are unaccountable from Iraq went on the Bush/Cheney watch. There are enough angry posters here to DEMAND it. Oh, yes, the people do care about it, because they are suffering - too bad Mr. Cheney fails to see that, among other things! True denial. The Bush Administration did not help the American people at all. Pretty sad that the Bush Administration and the Republicans didn't have any problem whatsoever going forward in spending over 16 billion dollars a month on the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and building the American Embassy in Iraq, that cost more than 700 million, plus, dollars - that sits pretty much empty. Now there's an outcry because President Obama wants to help the American people by passing the stimulus package, etc.! Yes, the fact is President Obama most definitely inherited a major disaster - yet, thankfully, he has the intelligence to really clean it up - but it will take some time.
