Lynne Cheney Hospitalized After Fainting Spell

PHILADELPHIA — Lynne Cheney has been treated at a Philadelphia hospital and released after she was taken there because she fainted.

Hahnemann University Hospital spokeswoman Coleen Cannon says former Vice President Dick Cheney's wife is to return to Washington on Tuesday. She was taken to Hahnemann's emergency department after fainting Monday afternoon.

An aide to Dick Cheney says she was in Philadelphia on a private visit with her family.

Lynne Cheney waved to reporters Monday night from the back seat of a car next to her husband as she rode away from the hospital .

I agree. As my beloved Grandmother often said - Life is like table manners. Always bring it up to you, not you down to it. I fainted for the first time last fall and wound up in the hospital for 2 nights. They still don't know why. It's a weird feeling.

No reason to get down into the mud with the likes of the trolls here who wished ill and worse for Sen Kennedy and Justice Ginsburg.

Let's hope she recovers completely and writes another bodice ripper. : )

Compare the insurance-covered treatment cheney received, $ for $, to the various health plans out there - including their cost - and also compare to a citizen with NO healthcare and a moderately priced house.

Maybe she finally heard what Sy Hersh said about Cheney's assassinations squads or maybe she head John Dean say that if the allegation was true then Cheney was guilty of war crimes and murder. Maybe that was what caused Lynn Cheney to faint.
