For those of you jumping all over Obama for this, might I suggest that you actually read the article. I read the Politico article thoroughly and I would hardly call this a blowout. The Obama's are hosting a reception for visiting dignitaries and lawmakers from Northern Ireland to celebrate the Irish holiday. You know it is still the job of the President to greet foreign leaders.

At this delicate time in our nation it bewilders me as to why HP would use such a controversial term as blowout to describe a reception (a reception-not party, dinner, banquet or gala) for foreign leaders on a holiday that is celebrated by millions.
