Fox News Apologizes For Misleading Viewers With Old Clip Of Joe Biden (Video)

Martha MacCallum, co-anchor of the Fox News program "The Live Desk," apologized today after Fox News "inadvertently" used a six-month-old clip of Joe Biden talking about the economy.

The misleading segment featured splices of recent interviews with Obama administration officials discussing the state of the economy. One clip showed Joe Biden saying that the "fundamentals of the economy are strong." The Huffington Post reported yesterday that the clip of Biden was taken from a much earlier stump speech, and that he was repeating a statement John McCain made on the campaign trail.

What's hilarious is how the cons compare apples to pomegranates and try to convince us they are one and the same. KO f**ked up a fact and corrected it - with an apology - the very next night. Faux News created a misleading hunk of propaganda, got called out, and had to issue a mea culpa to keep the story from getting legs.

How is it the right wing religious folk in high places take to lying and deception/misleading like a duck to water. In the short and long con racket, this is known as philosophical slight of hand. In psychology , it is profound and deeply set perceptual and cognitive inconsistencies, likely absorbed in early childhood. People tend to absorb/osmosify (unintentionally) the complex moral characteristics of their elders/leaders, denying hypocrisies and dishonesty of their organization but inevitably find themselves practicing them in situations that are, in a biblical sense, testing.

People can't learn or practice genuine and absolute/unfailing honesty if they've never seen it.
