GOP Uneasy As Allies Stray On Health Care

Maneuvering by the healthcare industry and other business interests to cozy up to Democrats on health reform is causing unease among their traditional Republican allies on Capitol Hill.

President Obama and his Democratic allies have yet to put forward legislation that will force these factions to take a stand, but the conciliatory approach of healthcare and business groups so far stands in stark contrast to the broad skepticism that has greeted Democratic health reform ideas among congressional Republicans.
