Obama Would Crush Sarah Palin In 2012: Poll

A poll released by Public Policy Polling found that President Obama would crush Sarah Palin in a hypothetical, head-to-head presidential election for 2012.

Polling suggests that such a contest would result in the largest popular vote blowout since George McGovern ran against Richard Nixon in 1972.

Obama leads Palin 55-35 in the hypothetical contest. He has an 89-7 advantage among Democrats. Among Republican he trails 66-17. Last year exit polls showed Obama
winning only 9% of the Republican vote, so it appears Palin would lose a lot more voters
within her party than McCain did.

The poll showed Obama to have a 55 percent approval rating among voters, while Palin had only 39 percent favorability.

Two groups of people voted for Obama, one group is obvious, you voted for him just because he is black. the other group of people voted for him because you thought he was going to take money from the upper class and just give it to the lower class as monthly checks so you can pay your mortgage, put food on the table and gas in your car. This group of people who make up 60% of Obama supporters don't even know who the Vice President is or the Secretary of State, or Speaker of the House. I have a news flash. It ain't going to happen, as the only way to get ahead and make something of yourself is to get off your butt get a job and earn a living. I believe that the numbers are so high on the Palin side of this poll have a lot to do with the sad fact that there is still so much racism in this country, not to mention there's that tax thing. Republican's are all about lowering their taxes no matter what it does to this country.

No one knows what is going to happen in four years. If the economy turns around, he will be hard to beat. If it doesn't then the presidency is up for grabs. All the people blasting him or showering him with adoration need to take a wait and see approach. Every new president should be given time especially in a terrible economic downturn.
In 1996 Clinton was re-elected after losing the Congress in 1994. There were plenty of scandels in his administration (personal and political). In 2004 Bush was re-elected (or selected based on your political leanings) after starting 2 wars and not speaking proper English. You really never know,.
I want the president to do a good job because people need to get back on their feet. Let's worry about 2009 and how we all can work together to improve the lives of our fellow citizens.

Obama's immediate predecessors set such abysmally low standards that he'd have to make a real effort not to exceed them. If he refrains from starting any more wars, and keeps his rooster out of Monica Lewinski's mouth, he'll probably get reelected. If he manages to get the economy running again, he's guaranteed to win. Geithner is mismanaging programs and blissfully overlooks or removes stopgaps on exec bonuses and then has the temerity to say “It wasn’t me”. The market dropped like an anchor from an aircraft carrier with Obama’s stupid fiscal programs. Three cabinet nominees don’t know how to pay taxes, and all you bunch of miscreants can do is make sophomoric comments about Sarah.
