CNBC:

Management at American International Group's financial products unit asked its employees to let the unit know by 5 p.m. on Monday if they plan to return all or part of the bonuses they got under an employee retention program, said the Wall Street Journal, citing a person familiar with the matter.

The request comes amid tight corporate security for AIG, which has received more than $170 billion in taxpayer money. The insurer urged staff to take measures "to increase their overall safety and security" due to "a growing sense of public attention fueled by increased media scrutiny."

AIG and others appear to refuse to grow up. They like spending and wasting other peoples money just like kids in a sweet shop. To bad, they just want to suck up tax dollars like a baby sitting in a pram sucking milk from a baby bottle.

Tuxedo suits, cocktail parties, chauffeur driven limousines ,wining and dining at five star restaurants eating lobsters and crayfish and sucking oysters like they are going out of fashion !

Only in America !

Imagine the headlines BREAKING NEWS!!!!!“ Legalized theft of public funds !!!!” .
Who suffers ? The tax payer suffers and sweats to feed these overgrown diaper wearing fat cats that are too lazy to change their soiled underwear.

Why rush Bail out plans through Congress without reading them with a fine tooth comb ? Who was the chief architect behind the drafting of this doomed to fail mealy mouthed Shambolic Stimulus Bill ?

Surely with a credit crunch people should exercise better fiscal responsibility ?

Or did some hard nosed politician with more guts than brains and more stupidity than cat playing with a rattlesnake rush this bill through to get some political financial kickbacks with the tax payers money ? Who knows, some sleazy slimy politician grinning in the media camera ?

What about those bankers flying their private jets and parking them for the media to see and then requesting Billions in financial bail out ?

Is Santa Claus in town ?

Santa Claus got gifts to give

Here's a change of ideas. A few weeks ago (it wasn't given much air time) a bank in Florida was bought out under the TARP program. The owner of this bank received something in the $60M to $70M range. Did he keep the money?? NO! He divided the money between all of his employees and even added a few who had left the bank's employ but who had worked well while employed.

NOW, THERE'S AN EXECUTIVE WE CAN ALL BE PROUD OF! I just wonder how many executives in the banking industry - or any other industry for that matter - can claim this man's kind of character?

While the "little" people are being asked to make sacrifices in their pay, like teachers, and other public service employees who on average earn way less than $100,000, the greedy pigs in the financial sector are crying over having to be accountable for bonuses they certainly did not earn on merit! They are the ones responsible for our economic collapse, yet they are the ones who continue to live high on the hog, and continue to act as if they are entitled to their greed and selfishness, and to continue to steal from the American people. They all need to give back the money, accept more reasonable salaries, give back their unearned bonuses, or go to jail for fraud. I am so outraged by their greed, I didn't know they were that bad until I began following the goings on of the financial market more closely. They are greedy pigs and I really hate them right now!

I wonder how many 'regular' people could keep their jobs if the executives showed a little humanity and thought of others instead of fueling their own greed...

You know, passing up their multi-million dollar bonuses to help their fellow workers!

Sort of like the way the american tax payer is being asked to help out the executives that helped destroy the economy with their greed!

Clearly these greedy pigs are not going to show any humanity because they are unable to think of anyone else but themselves and their fat wallets. This is why the government has to force a little humany out of these greedy pigs who have shown total disregard for the American taxpayer.

CORRUPT CULTURE OF WS MUST RETURN TO POST 1929 - FDR ERA!

Whatever happened to people like my Grandfather, an Honest Banker, who lived through the Depression and would not go home until every penny was accounted for even if it was Midnight!

Now we do allow "Off-the-Books" accounting by these WS Banks! And other violations of accounting practices!

He did not risk people's money on stupid Bets or Over Leveraging and he worked until he was 75 and was never called Corrupt and was respected by everyone he knew.

Where is that kind of Banker?

Who the HECK are these people on WS that feel America OWES them $TRILLIONS to repair their TOXIC WASTE and pay their $Multi-Million incomes?
