Schwarzenegger

San Francisco Chronicle:

Is Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger - the former bodybuilder and action hero - getting ready for the next big starring role in his larger-than-life political career?

For Californians who read political tea leaves, some signs are starting to emerge: A few months ago, the Republican was on the campaign trail for presidential candidate John McCain, lambasting Barack Obama as a guy with "skinny legs," "scrawny little arms" and socialist ideas. On Thursday, there he was standing next to President Obama - hugging him and praising him as the nation's economic savior and reformer.

yeah...get out while the gettin's good...

Calif. is in a financial mess so why stick around and do your duty.

When will America wake up and quit voting the same people into one office after another......

Term limits are needed and the previous office holders could act as "mentors"
Also, moving from one position to another needs looking at as well.

OAKLAND CA
CA GOV'R PAID A VISIT.

Three police sergeants were killed on Saturday and a fourth left in critical condition following a random traffic spot that escalated into a SWAT team shooting.
This comes a few months after a BART cop shot a kid.
AH NOLD sems to have good intentions, but he's not popular in SF Bay Area.

I think he should stay the GOV. of Cali, he can do a lot more good there instead of just being a vote on issues in the senate...

After Arnold runs for Senator and wins, then he can run for President of the U.S. Oh, he's not a citizen of the U.S.? That never stopped our current man from running. Both are frauds!

i wonder if this red herring will ever be debunked enough? go find some cold-fusion experiments to do.

Wouldn't that be Barbara Boxer's seat? Schwarzenegger expects Obama to support him over Boxer? Well, I guess with the side Obama is taking on the bailout, that's a possibility.

No, he is hoping people see him as a moderate versus the far-left Boxer.

Should be interesting if he does run. Boxer is a long-term senator and very popular with her own constituency, although she drives moderates nuts. She and Feinstein are actually a very nice pairing for this state.

Is it too much to suggest that this corrupt, tax-dodging, Bush-recyling banker should never have been nominated nor approved by real Democrats?

The words "social justice" do not belong in his vocabulary. It's time he leave Obama's administration before Obama begins to look like a likable version of Bush on corporate bailouts.

I don't even care WHO runs against him.. I am DONATING to them all I can. AHHnald is a Fraud and benefactor of the Criminal set-up of the sitting California Gov who was pushed out by the GOP and ENRON. Fake energy crisis, Manipulated Prices that magically go down right after Davis was removed and in the end ENRON was shown to be in control over it all.

BUSHS BUDDIES

Our State is BROKE and this man is trying to get PROMOTED!!

I don't see how he could possibly win against Barbara Boxer. She is a fabulous senator and has represented California well (she voted AGAINST the war in Iraq). Arnold was an inexperienced celebrity when he was elected governor of the state and has not followed through on a single campaign promise. He has really hurt education since he has been in office. If he gets elected to the senate, we Californians have to be the most stupid, gullible people in the entire United States.
