Russia 'Concerned' Over Security Of Pakistan's Nukes

Bloomberg:

Russia is "very much concerned" about the safety of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal, and the country must be stabilized before peace can be achieved in neighboring Afghanistan, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov said.

Pakistani nukes are safe or unsafe is another matter but hearing it from a Russian is hilarious indeed. Anyone care to remember the 1990’s when American agents with bags full of dollars were sent all over the central Asian republics and Baltic states to buy back the nuclear material from rogue scientists and KGB agents. Our memories are not so short as to forget that episode in Russian history. Currently Russia is selling nuclear know how to Iran which could turn out to be biggest danger to US, Europe and Israel.

We have more to fear if the nukes fall into wrong hands then the Russians

they are funny with their priorities. they can't keep track of what they had at the end of the cold war, yet they are "concerned" with pakistan. maybe their next concern will be about giving, or selling, the schematics for assault rifles, to 3rd world or troubled countries.
