Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke shared more than the hot seat during their testimony before the House Financial Services Committee Tuesday morning; they also shared the same taste in ties. Both men arrived on Capitol Hill wearing identical blue, silver and black striped cravats. But not everything was matchy-matchy: Secretary Geithner wore a charcoal suit while Chairman Bernanke went with a heather gray.

There should be an emergency tie for this type of "fashion emergency". If someone notices fast enough, they could break the glass and flip coins to decide who will wear it. With all the stress and lack of sleep these guys are getting for a thankless job, I'm just glad they wore pants!

That's pretty funny, though I've seen this happen at work all the time, where everyone will end up wearing simlar colors on one day or another. Oddly enough, yesterday two of my male co-workers ended up wearing the *exact* same golf shirt (same color, same brand). It was pretty entertaining. ;p
