Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa are being sued by their former housekeeper, who claims Vanessa was incredibly abusive -- even demanding that she put her hand in a bag of dog feces to retrieve a tag from her blouse.
Maria Jimenez claims Vanessa called her "lazy, slow dumb, a f---ing liar, and f---ing sh-t."
In the lawsuit filed in Superior Court in Orange County, Jimenez claims Vanessa accused her of stealing her (mouth) retainer.

Good luck with that, maid. Remember, he forced himself on that young girl in Colorado, but he obviously was able to Out-Lawyer her. His wife surely liked the extremely expensive ring he bought her in apology.

I'll tell you what the deal is. Colby is an baller and he's always on the road and he's out there with all that money and all those women and his wife is always pissed cause she knows he's not just ballin' on the court! So she takes it out on the maid (who he might be ballin' too). And as fine as she is, she could be ballin' herself but she's not! She's home taking care of the kids and miserable!
I'm thinking new reality show. Celebrity Maid..., make it a competition, who can hold out longer at the Bryant's household... get washed up or D list actresses/celebs and see if they can last a month under Vanessa's tyranny. Get Kobe to cheat on her with you, bonus prizes...

I believe it 100%. That is abuse. You're not supposed to dock someone's pay for a mistake like that. That's two weeks salary for the maid. It's not like Vanessa has worked a day in her life.
I'm getting sick and tired of how the word abuse is thrown around so loosely these days. Even if all of this is true how does this entitle the maid to anything. She could have refused to what was asked and quit her job at any moment. Now she's suing because her boss yelled at her and told her to do something she didn't like. Join the rest of us. Just because someone's mean to you doesn't mean that you've been abused. There's no law against being a jerk.

A $695 blouse? What the hell kind of buttons do you get with that? Why not a $50 one and use the savings to help someone in need? I saw a story the other day of a woman suing her husband for alimony because the 43 million dollars she was getting in the pre-nup was not enough to cover her life style that included $4500 a week for clothes. Egad!

My grandparents (RIP) were both live-in domestic servants for old money east coast retail families for most of their lives. They were never treated that way. They would have never dreamed of working for new money people. Old money folks never dress flashy, and they never talk about money. Most importantly, they don't treat their servants badly, they just replace them if they don't work out. Generations of having wealth and being bogged down with scandal because of disgruntled servants has taught old money folks a lesson that new money folks have yet to learn.

Yeah old money people also had slaves. Of course they treated their slaves well. They only beat them when they needed it. Raped them when they asked for it. Yes good old money people= code word for WHITE.
You and your code words. You would think with that history of abuse by slave owners that the Bryants would be nicer about their help. Maybe, it has to do more with having money than what race you are that makes people abusive. Who was that black super model that threw cellphones at her assistant? Do you see any code words in that incident since you're so good at finding code words here, there and everywhere?
Money is money and, old money or new, it gives the wealthy a sense of false entitlement and power. My mother also worked for very old money that sailed from England, and the head of the family was one of the biggest attorneys in the United States. She had been working 2 jobs for her whole life, and I wanted to take care of her. We made steps to buy a home and, when her employer found out, he grilled my mother with questions about her future employment status. In other words, he was worried that a new home paid by me would give her a chance to retire. He immediately called both the home builders and loan company, informed them that I was going to default on the payments and that I was a terrible loan risk. The loan company, realizing who he was, immediately phoned to tell me that they would not let me purchase a home. I had never met this man in my life, much less spoken to him over the phone. He just knew me as the daughter who stayed home to take care of my parents through their cancers. Old money, same old crap.
Kobe Bryant is actually a very nice person. His attitude on the court causes people to hate him, but most superstars have that arrogant I-can-do-anything mentality. Off the court, and I have met him a few times, he's a very nice person.
His wife? I've heard from many people that she's a handful. Doesn't surprise me at all. The court papers say Kobe talked her out of quitting a few times and actually got his wife to apologize to her once.
I have ALWAYS hated the Lakers and Kobe, but after last year, I gained a lot of respect for him as player. He seems nice in interviews, but these guys are elites with a lot of power and usually very little guidance growing up. That is why guys like LeBron and Kobe MUST be unique people to overcome all the distractions and perform at such an amazing level. The NBA has the best athletes of all the major sports, and really do seem to earn their bucks - IMO.
I've read the NBA players money is guaranteed but the NFL players is not? How is that possible?
