I receive BLENDER, so that sucks that it' s folding. I saw it coming though. VIBE has to be next.

I hope Vibe IS next....it's a cheesy publication.

This was a pretty terrible magazine. I got a free subscription in college in 2002 and 2003, and I remember that every other issue they would pick a random band from the garage rock boom and tout them as the "Greatest Band in the World!" How can a different band be the greatest in the world every month?

mark my words, vibe is next...

I received Blender when Stuff folded, there were usually an article or two I would read in it, but for the most part I did not enjoy it. Not sure what age group this mag was trying to target, I think if it had picked one it light have survived, but it wanted to be the music mag for all age groups and failed everyone.

Also, to comments on here talking about the appliance called a Blender, do you really think yourself witty? "Gee, I did not know my Blender could read?" I guess I'm surprised by these comments as I did not know homo erectus had mastered the use of kitchen appliances or computers.

That's really too bad. Blender is my favorite music magazine. In addition to being really funny, the magazine's writers actually seem to know about and like music. I wouldn't even bother to read Rolling Stone, for instance, if it wasn't for Matt Taibbi's articles.

Gee, that's a surprise. With articles about exciting new artists like Kelly Clarkson and U2, you'd think people would be all over this magazine.

There was a magazine called Blender?

Blender was great when it first released and Andy Pemberton was editor. The writing was top-notch and it was a good blend (pardon the pun) of music and pop culture reporting. Reminded me a lot of Britain's "Q Magazine." I agree with Kremfresch's comments...it seems like they tried to grab a younger demographic or something, and completely lost focus. I didn't renew my subscription last year and haven't missed it. Sad though, it was a fun read in the beginning....

My blender lives in the dark closet, so it never needed a magazine. I don't even know if it can read.
