Isabel Toledo Tries To Wrangle Obama Dress For Mid-Career Retrospective

Isabel Toledo, the designer behind Michelle Obama's inauguration day dress, is getting a midcareer retrospective that will display 70 of her creations from the eighties to present.

What about The Dress itself? According to WWD:

Organizers of "Isabel Toledo: Fashion from the Inside Out," an exhibition that will launch at the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology June 17, are trying to wrangle the lemongrass ensemble First Lady Michelle Obama wore to the presidential inauguration.

So only time will tell.
