Vince Shlomi, ShamWow Pitchman, Arrested For Battering Hooker (VIDEO)

ShamWow pitchman Vince Shlomi was arrested on felony battery charges in Miami last month following a violent encounter with a hooker, according to The Smoking Gun:

Shlomi told cops he paid [Sasha] Harris about $1000 in cash after she "propositioned him for straight sex." Shlomi said that when he kissed Harris, she suddenly "bit his tongue and would not let go." Shlomi then punched Harris several times until she released his tongue. The affidavit...notes that during the 4 AM fight Harris sustained facial fractures and lacerations all over her face.... After freeing his tongue, a bleeding Shlomi ran to the [hotel] lobby, where security summoned cops. Harris refused to cooperate with officers, who recovered $930 from her purse.

Harris is reportedly considering a lawsuit against Shlomi, though prosecutors "declined to file formal charges" against him.

Schlomi and his after-hour Shamwow shananigans. No doubt he'll make a new reality show out of the incident - "From Rags To Stiches". The classic American success story.

Hmm, several things don't seem right:

-- Shlomi paid $1000 for what appears to be a more common prostitute. That's more akin to what a higher class call girl is paid. No offense to Miss Harris, but she certainly doesn't look high class.

-- Shlomi claims that the woman "started it" by biting his tongue. Why would a prostitute want to risk losing $1000 by giving the john a bad experience?

-- Miss Harris' injuries are quite substantial. That suggests that Shlomi did far more than "defend" himself.

It is possible that Shlomi intended to be rough from the get-go (perhaps why he "overpaid") and the roughness escalated when Miss Harris didn't play along. Of course, this is pure speculation.

She refused to give her side of it and the physical evidence is consistent with his story.

That her visible injuries are substantial, and his are not (note no tongue out showing bite in mug shot, but you can bet your bottom dollar it is part of the evidence).

On what basis do you charge him with anything?

Self-defense is not a crime, and speculation on what someone might or might not have done based on injuries that are see in a photo where other injuries are known on the other party and not shown, is not a legal basis to file charges on anything.

FYI some female persons can and do get very violent.

I find the fact that she bit his tongue and wouldn't let go rather telling. He paid her $1000 which is a big enough amount that he may have thought her protests about being tongue kissed were irrelevant. My scenario: He forced his tongue in her mouth and wouldn't stop; so she bit him. He started punching her to make her let go; but she wouldn't let go because he was punching her. If she'd stop biting his tongue, he could have still beat the crap out of her; so she held on.
I doubt that she was a hooker who got her jollies from biting her clients against their will. She doesn't look like the type of woman who could beat a full grown man just for kicks. And hookers are still people, just as human as their johns or any one of us.

I think there are many sites out there where he can meet someone without the women of the night getting involved.
