Vince Shlomi, ShamWow Pitchman, Arrested For Battering Hooker (VIDEO)

ShamWow pitchman Vince Shlomi was arrested on felony battery charges in Miami last month following a violent encounter with a hooker, according to The Smoking Gun:

Shlomi told cops he paid [Sasha] Harris about $1000 in cash after she "propositioned him for straight sex." Shlomi said that when he kissed Harris, she suddenly "bit his tongue and would not let go." Shlomi then punched Harris several times until she released his tongue. The affidavit...notes that during the 4 AM fight Harris sustained facial fractures and lacerations all over her face.... After freeing his tongue, a bleeding Shlomi ran to the [hotel] lobby, where security summoned cops. Harris refused to cooperate with officers, who recovered $930 from her purse.

Harris is reportedly considering a lawsuit against Shlomi, though prosecutors "declined to file formal charges" against him.

when you think about it, why would she just bite his tongue unprovoked? he was probably
beating up on her and she was just defending herself. why would she risked injesting some of
his blood from biting his tongue unless she was really fearing for her life. her mugshot looks a
lot worse than his (if you look at the real one).

Well, if you want an interesting theory... he's an ex-Scientologist, and quietly helps fund anti-Scientology activism. Scientology have a history of using unscrupulous tactics to discredit and harm their "enemies", and this certainly seems like their usual sort of tactic.

The reality is probably more mundane, of course.

If you are famous or look like a family man who has a lot to lose by filing a complaint against a hooker, you run the risk of being abused, so it is better just to stay away from them.

If you simply can't stay away, though, you must convince the hooker that your moral character is such that it cannot be damaged by police involvement.

So whenever the urge overwhelms, tell the hooker you are a Republican politician.
