I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Bill O'Reilly wants to see President Obama succeed, he says, but Rush Limbaugh is as adamant as ever that he hopes Obama will fail in the White House. During his Monday radio show, he told listeners that Obama's failure would mean the country would be "saved."

"Based on what we've seen with General Motors and the banks, if he fails, America is saved," Limbaugh said. "Barack Obama's policies and their failure is the only hope we've got to maintain the America of our founding."

LISTEN:

O'Reilly has a different outlook. Asked if he want Obama to fail: "No. We want him to succeed. We want to persuade him that perhaps some of his policies are not going to help him succeed."

Meanwhile, the DNC rolled out its anti-Limbaugh billboard:

Rush has 3 ex wives who hopes he does not fail.

Hey Rush, how about the FDA starts looking into those herbal companies whose goods you hawk on your show.

Bet they would yank their commercials faster than you can yank Obama's chain.

Ewwww. Can you imagine being married to Rush Limbaugh? What happened, did they lose a bet?

Rush has a nice racket going -- he says whatever he wants and is the de facto leader of the GOP. If Al Capone was still alive, I imagine Rush would excel as his media spokesman.

But since Rush is so driven for wishing failure to President Obama and others he disagrees with, likely failure will be an experience Rush will personally encounter in the very near future.

Rush is all for low wages. As long as somebody else gets stuck working for them.

This one will go nicely in the compendium of his dull-witted quotes in the soon-to-be-released best-seller, "The End Came Swiftly".

I have to wonder what Rush thinks "the America of our founding" is. What is he talking about?

This is a question that a responsible media would seek to answer, unless those in positions of authority understand and tacitly and unconsciously agree that America is fundamentally a white nation and it should remain one in the face of brown-skinned immigration and rising brown, yellow, black and tan rising birthrates. The entire behavior by the corporate press and electronic media is one of pure cowardice: they pretend that the unique history of America has nothing to do with a culture of primarily white conservative men on the radio for 3 hour stints each day whispering at the prospect of a scary African American man with a funny sounding name needing to fail to save them.

The media by pretending it is all just entertainment display daily its disrespect for truth and reality as well as the non-white community which it ignores and refuses to engage in a constructive and positive manner. Too often the engagement into the non-white community is in the order of the cart before the horse, involving non-whites coming into controversies after the fires have already begun to then do so-called 'healing', rather than having non-whites being involved in the beginning of issues.

This is a common pattern here and abroad with non-white nations.

Undeniable truth right there!

WOW!!! Don't know what "the America of our founding" is about? Take a look at the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, the federalist papers, and the early history of the US. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Limited government----the very essence of the Constitution, including, and perhaps especially the Bill of Rights. Read them and contrast that with the big, nanny state government that Obama and Democrats envision and ask yourself if that is what the founding fathers (I mean "parents") had in mind.

Where the hell does Rush get his logic? For someone to say the President's failure is America's success is beyond foolish. I think he just says things to stay in the spotlight. I think America is finally catching on to the racket.

To all of those disbelivers, go back and read your history books and you will see where this "road" is taking us . Also, get the facts right, Clinton, got us where we are, Bush tried to get us away from it , but congress would not listen. It's called being informed . Most policies that presidents put into effect don't usally affect us till months or sometimes years later. Bush was not Regan by any means but Bush wasn't the worst. So far Obama takes that honor.

Well, good for you, huffpo for your zealous monitoring of another limbaugh story. Can't be too careful. Someone might say something unflattering about the dear man.

"Based on what we've seen with General Motors and the banks, if he fails, America is saved," sez Limbaugh.

A sentiment that Krugman can agree with.

What will Limabaugh say when the country is in better shape in four years than it is now?

How will he explain his being 100% wrong about everything he says?

Oh, that's right. He's a Republican, and facts don't matter.
