Limbaugh: 'If Obama Fails, America Is Saved'

Bill O'Reilly wants to see President Obama succeed, he says, but Rush Limbaugh is as adamant as ever that he hopes Obama will fail in the White House. During his Monday radio show, he told listeners that Obama's failure would mean the country would be "saved."

"Based on what we've seen with General Motors and the banks, if he fails, America is saved," Limbaugh said. "Barack Obama's policies and their failure is the only hope we've got to maintain the America of our founding."

O'Reilly has a different outlook. Asked if he want Obama to fail: "No. We want him to succeed. We want to persuade him that perhaps some of his policies are not going to help him succeed."

I only listen to Limbaugh, Savage and Hannity on the radio to remind myself that I am one of the sane Americans. Between the three of them there is enough hatred to poison the entire Atlantic ocean. There is conspiracy enough in their daily radio shows to topple the governments of Russia, China, Cuba and North Korea 100 times over.

Now here comes the GOP budget proposal. Less taxes for the rich and big business, cuts in infrastructure and education funding, global warming ha, its just a myth, no more bailouts, enough people have healthcare now (why do we want poor people living longer anyway). We'll do it like Reagan did. We'll make the rich people richer and don't worry they'll donate to the food shelves so the rest of us can go fill our shopping bags to feed the kids. This is the GOP world. My daddy had money and he left it to me and I don't care anything about helping those in need. Oh yea, unless I can get a 36% tax deduction out of it. Shame on all of you.

Something I've never understood about GOP priorities is their lack of interest in infrastructure improvements. Increased infrastructure is the same thing as increased capital and expands the production possibilities curve. I just don't get why they'd be against having both more guns AND more butter. It must not jive with their core constituency (old money).

Well, if Rush would like to see America saved via Obama's failure, then he should have been even more adamant about seeing Bush fail since it was he and his administration which has brought us to this point. What we have here is 8 years of failure to this country and its citizenry during that time. But since Rush's brain has been liquefied by all his medication abuse, I'm not surprised he sounds like any other drug addict who can't formulate a proper thought.
