Angie Harmon: Republicans "Don't Point Fingers" And "Have Class"

Angie Harmon

Angie Harmon gave a lengthy interview to Foxnews.com, and today part two is online, including Harmon's thoughts on the Republican party.

The interview started with Harmon defending Bristol Palin, and became the larger reasons Harmon loves the Republican Party:

"I think one of the greatest things about the Republican Party is the understanding, we don't point fingers and we have class...

Not all of us are supposed to believe the same things and think the same way," she added. "I think the difference between the parties is, with the Democrats you can sit down with them and have a 15 minute conversation and if you're not believing everything they say and buying into what they're selling you, it is like you're some dumb hick who doesn't deserve to live here anymore. But with the Republicans, it is like okay I want to know what you know, you want to know what I know, okay great lets go have a beer after work, we're still friends.

In part one of the interview, Harmon said how disagreeing with Obama does not make her racist.

Harmon is married to retired football star Jason Sehorn, with whom she has three young daughters.

Funny how Fox News and the GOP are always saying celebrities should just shut up about politics. Yet when they find a few who agree with them they have no problem parading them for all to see. Typical classless hypocrisy.

The war in Iraq was started on known-false pretenses; the "yellow cake" uranium Iraq never tried to buy from Niger was easily disproved by the Italian reporter, Elisabetta Burba, whose editor ordered her to submit the forged documents to the American Embassy. Following up on the story, she disproved the allegations within the following week, as Joseph Wilson had already done 8 months earlier. Iraq hadn't had any kind of nuclear weapons development program since before the first Gulf War, but Cheney and Rumsfeld wanted war with Iraq and rigged the entire process (Seymour Hersh, "Chain Of Command," pages 231 - 239).

The allegation is premeditated mass murder. The complaint "finger pointing" is worse than irrelevant. It looks to me like an attempt to assist in the cover-up.

What the heck would I care what this woman thinks? She had a brief career on a TV show. Faux News must really be desperate to find people to talk the party line if they are reduced to putting on this has been.

Where are all these republicans with class?

I'd really like to meet both of them?

By the way.

WHO is Angie Harmon?

Shes a Classless lying fraudulent, zero integrity, evil, agenda pushing, game playing, scheming republican.
basically a model of GOP citizenship.

Yeah, all about class and listening to other people's point of view. Perhaps she didn't catch Rush talking about Gordon Brown getting 'anal poisoning' from Barack Obama?

Step One Ms. Harmon:
Remove head from sand.

Step Two Ms. Harmon:
Remove head from arse.

Great career move Ms. Harmon.
Better go ask Kirk Cameron if his Evangelical Super/Store/Movie Studio is hiring.
If not, don't fret, there's always Carnival Cruise Lines!

Here's the most recent example of that famed Republican "class":

Charming.

She's right about the Democrats, but wrong about the Republicans.

All parties have their share of partisans who won't hear opposing views. And if you don't believe that, you're one of them.

Another bimbette from the Hasslebeck (Hassleback?) crowd....

Good interviewees must be hard to come by these days. Isn't this actor Mark Harmon's sister? Who cares?

Angie Harmon is beautiful.
The "no finger-pointing -- class" comments alone, however, prove that she either lives in a bubble or has one for a head.

McCain, Palin, Coleman, Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity et al. If this is your definition of class, yep, you got it!!!

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, and Keith Olbermann, oh yeah.....way more classy. Are you kidding me?

Some people are polite and respectful; some people are not. I have never noticed that a person's political party affiliation had anything to do with that.

Nonetheless, if Ms. Harmon has noticed that Democrats, as a group, have seemed less willing to "live and let live" than Republicans, perhaps it had something to do with the fact that they watched GWB drive the country off a cliff for over six years and felt powerless and deeply frustrated.

That's "President Obama" to you, Angie. Now, just one question about your fatuous comments about being labelled "racist."
quote:
If I have anything to say against Obama it's not because I'm a racist, it's because I don't like what he's doing as President and anybody should be able to feel that way, but what I find now is that if you say anything against him you're called a racist," Harmon told Tarts at Thursday’s Los Angeles launch of the new eyelash-growing formula, Latisse. "But it has nothing to do with it, I don’t care what color he is. I’m just not crazy about what he's doing and I heard all about this, and he’s gonna do that and change and change, so okay … I'm still dressing for a recession over here buddy and we've got unemployment at an all-time high and that was his number one thing and that's the thing I really don't appreciate. If I'm going to disagree with my President, that doesn't make me a racist.
/quote
Who exactly called you a racist for disagreeing with President Obama? If I put the string "Angie Harmon's critique of President Obama deemed 'racist'" what would you expect I would find?

What planet does she live on? ... "Don't point fingers"... "have class"... Wow, has she paid any attention to what her party has brought us since the days of McCarthy ? Man, with an endless list of distinguished talkers such as; Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Savage (and let’s not forget dear Sarah) it’s impossible to view the GOP as anything other than a sack of delusional hypocrites, unless of course, you happen to be one....

I agree with you. This woman has no idea of how the other part of America lives. She is C class actress with B grade movies and some stint on Law & order. She is married to a B grade NFL player. Who said she has any intellect? GWB and his ilks had decimated this country one day at a time for the last eight years and where was this woman then? She has the audacity to talk about Pres. Obama. She doesn't possess even a nano billionth of his intellect, veracity, oratory, charisma and I can go on and on and on. All she can do is read from a script for her performance. Well, she can join the ranks of Bill O, Hannity, Glen Beck, Savage, Limbaugh, Coulter, Elizabeth Hasselbeck and all the other delusional so and sos in the great party she talks about. Finally she should rather devote more time to taking care of her very three young daughters than spill out asinine things.
