G-20: Europe Welcomes Obama (SLIDESHOW)

Barack Obama arrived in London last night for the start of his eight-day, five-country trip. He has begun meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev today and will be attending the G-20 Summit tomorrow. The international community has been anticipating President Obama's first trip abroad. Check out this slideshow of European newspapers covering Obama's trip. President Barack Obama has been everything those who voted for him hoped for: Intelligence, articulation, honesty, fairness, and a willingness to reverse the Republican support-on­ly-the-ric­h and big business philosophy. I brought my American flag out of the closet on 4 Nov 2008 and it has hung off my deck day and night ever since. Man, it feels good being an American again. And this from a Vietnam era veteran.

America has owed you that feeling of pride in your country for a really long time. My husband lost an uncle in Vietnam, and my own uncle was a medic and came home without his mind. He's gonna live out his life that way. But he felt the same way you did on Nov. 4th, and he watched the whole inauguration from start to finish. He said the same thing you did, that it made him feel good to be American again.

It's way past time you all got the payoff you deserve for everything you sacrificed for this country. If YOU guys can feel proud again, certainly we all can.

Whatever dude. I know it has to hurt that nobody ever loved Bush like this. Bush's legacy is that he will be forever remembered by the entire world as the most hated American president in history.

Hopefully Obama can turn all these well wished into support to try and minimize the terrorists hell bent on disrupting everyone's lives. With a globe united radical elements can be quickly isolated and dealt with.
