Afghan Cricket Team Close To Qualifying For World Cup

Afghanistan beat Bermuda by 60 runs a day after defeating Denmark in their opening game of the World Cup qualifying tournament in South Africa.

The early wins mean the Afghan team is on course to secure a place in the 2011 championship little more than 20 years after Afghans first caught the cricketing bug in Pakistan's refugee camps after the Soviet invasion.
