The Sex and the City big-screen sequel will hit theaters May 28, 2010, the box-office tracking firm Exhibitor Relations noted Wednesday.

I enjoyed the series but was really disappointed in the movie. I found it depressing and didn't laugh out loud once. Won't be rushing out to see the next one.

Guilty secret! I would enjoy a second run of that film. It was entertaining and lighthearted with just the right amount of schmaltz. I have watched it couple of times since it hit cable movies. I would do it again. Those four ladies are a part of pop culture in America - icons, one might even say.

--- It's a freak show ~~~until you see every episode and then you see some very talented movie stars and movie people who don't act or think or react any better in real time. I can't wait for the sequel.

Just saw the movie on HBO. Good news, no refunds necessary, subscribe only to watch Bill Mahar, and any good movies happen to come along, this one is not one of them ! Bad news, in the days of recession, too much vulgarity , showing off of wealth and greed, same superficial characters, and sadly, only change is the starlets are ageing and only one of them Kim, can act.
The supporting actress looked stunning and can act also, is Hudson.

For a season or two, the series was a guilty pleasure for me. The movie was just a waste of two hours (or so). None of the women were even remotely likable in the movie.

Hey. If people want to make money off a bunch of old actresses with a script that is playing to the fantasies of a bunch of would-be cougars, what's the harm? It will put plenty of union people to work. I won't buy a ticket, but plenty of other people will.
